well my phone lasts a decent while without me charging it, so I just check it before I shower to see if I need to charge it some.

mine stays chargred for a few days if i don't charge it at night.

mine lasts for at least three days at a time. I charge it in the afternoon usually but I'll charge it while I'm in the shower if it looks like my phone is going to die during the night.

why wouldn't the alarm go off it was plugged in?

I don't know but my phone usually doesn't alert me for texts, calls, or alarms when its plugged in. besides, the only open outlet is on the other side of the room.
