because we took it to bestbuy today and they're going to ship it and try to fix it. the recovery disk didn't work and now they think it's a hardware problem.

I repeat my previous statement. You need a new laptop. So are you gonna be without interwebz for awhile when you get back to school?

my parents haven't figured out what to do. I don't know what kind of computer labs they have at SFUAD, but I assume there are some. I will need a computer for my classes though. I'm in a writing class. either me and my mom will trade computers and I get her little netbook or my dad might buy a new computer for me and give mine to matt when it's fixed. otherwise I'm without a computer until thanksgiving.

Still laptop is a necessary and they are gonna have to get matt a laptop soon anyway. so it seems like it would work

well, matt's supposed to get his laptop at the end of his senior year. that's when me and ben got ours. a kind of graduation present.

yeah i know. It seems like laptops are a common graduation present for a lot of people. for high school and graduation.
