I see. I just finished class for the day. I'm gonna goof off for the rest of today, then go crazy trying to finish/start carving my rock over the weekend.

sounds like a fun weekend. I'm probably going to try and be productive tomorrow evening and then goof off saturday and work sunday

we're working on like 3 projects at once in that class! I don't like working with wood, stone, and plaster at the same time!

yes. lots of scary stuff. there are blue X's taped on the walls that show where a board will fly back and hit if it kicks back.

yep, the teacher pointed them out and half the class (which was sitting near it) moved clear to the other side of the room.

class was fun today. lots of walking on tables, sticking hands through walls, and playing with table saws.

I actually didn't. I just scooted my stool over some. i was a few feet away and the cabinet was between me and that part of the wall. I was one of two people that stayed on that side of the saw.

yes, we built the sculpture on the tables so people stood on them to move the individual parts around. the hole was already in the wall, but the switch to turn the dust collection system on and off was set into it so you had to reach in almost a foot to get to it.
