I've been on this website for a day or two now and I've come to realize that Menewsha somewhat "encourages" people to have mule accounts..
WHY?

To me, it makes no sense why they would encourage something like that.
What do you think? I mean, I know there are barely any people on this site and so there aren't already a ton of accounts but seriously?

Anyways, what are your thoughts?

Actually people are only allowed to have one mule account in total on their IP address, unless they prove they have siblings or someone else in the house who uses Menewsha. Having any more mules results in getting in trouble. ^ ^;

They encourage because a lot of people like to make extra gold that way. Also mules are very helpful for setting up charities and other big threads. It really depends on what you want to do on the site, but there's no reason to feel obligated to have a mule account whatsoever! :)

Another thing is that you know everyone will make mules, but the way they've set it up here helps with that. It's set up to say it's okay to have one mule, then people won't just make many mules. If that makes sense.

I waited a long time brfore I got a mule account, but in the end I found them to be so useful for events. Only having one mule is nice, as it helps the more quite among us to gain money (games) and stuff from events.

I don't think menewsha encourages mules at all xD; lol, i mean, if you get caught with more than one (and you will get caught if you try :P) you get a hefty warning and/or banned...soo yeah :)

Well, it is harder to earn gold on this site - but yea, I really don't know why they encourage it. Although its a good idea that they implemented a system where every IP address holds up to two different accounts.

Mules are extremely helpful and all.....But I don't see menewsha advertising it or anything... ;\

Honestly. Its a matter of opinion. They may be encouraging it and they may not. If you think about it, they are telling you, you may have ONE not saying , go make a mule account. So again its a matter of opinion. -shrugs-

Mules tend to help out with attaining money quicker, but I don't think they really encourage it. I have no mule, I'm new to Menewsha, so I just go with the flow in getting money. =D

The only place I've seen anyone "encouraging" a mule in any sort of official capacity is requiring charity mules for large charity threads. This keeps charity funds and items separate from main accounts and makes it easier for the staff to keep an eye on how funds are being used. It also makes it much more difficult for users to cheat charity accounts out of funds or items.

Barely anyone on this site? At this moment in time there are about 300 people online. All in all there is over 70000 members.

Personally I don't feel that the site encourages mules. Each person is only allowed one and if you have more on your IP address then you can get into trouble. Fair enough having mules are useful if you play the games or have extra items that you need to store. But no, I feel that the site does not encourage them.

When I first started on this website, I made a few different accounts since I didn't know what name I wanted at the time. I never used them, I don't play the games or anything, so it's not like I was able to get more gold out of them or anything like that.

After a while I finally worked towards having a crown and I spent about a hundred dollars on the CI's in order to get it.
Oh, and then guess what happened, I got banned.

So no, don't get multiple accounts. I was unaware that I would get banned for accounts I didn't even remember the passwords to.

I felt that way too but I think (like others on here) that Menewsha is just making a point that if you have more than on mule then you in troublleeeee. :P
