Marissa looked at him, "I..." He chewed his lip and took a deep breath, "I would not want to upset what ever plans you had...." He said softly, "Though I would not particularly enjoy it."

"why exactly would you not particularly enjoy it?" angelo sighed and sat back sipping a wine that his butler poured from just him.

Marissa shrugged, trying to play it off. He lifted his hand chewing his thumb a bit before picking up his drink and taking a sip.
He'd only just met Angelo, there was no need for this jealousy.
He sighed and hung his head a bit, dealing with some internal argument he was having.

Angelo waited slowly sipping his wine. he wanted to have his old lover come here but then he also did not want to hurt Marissa and his chances with him.

Marissa sighed as he finished that course. He sat back a little. He looked over Angelo, "What you do in your house..." He said softly, "is not mine to dictate... or influence..."

"ah but there your wrong, you are a guest in this house untill you want to leave here. and as the host of this house I must make sure that you are comfortable before I am." A bit of his wine tricked down his chin that he quickly whipped away.

Marissa sighed and rubbed his head. The master was making it hard for him to not just confess his infatuation.
That was probably the best word for it, infatuation. He'd only just met his master there was no way it was anything more.

"if you wish not to tell me I will just go about this as I feel you would like me to." standing up Angelo set the empty glass down, the red of the leftover wine slowly inching back down into it. "if you need me Alanna can find me."

Marissa nodded sadly and stood up slowly. He glanced at the glass but just shook off those thoughts that were running around in his head.
He walked across the room, eyes peering into the glass for a moment and then he headed back to his room, sulking the whole way.

sending a messenger to stop his old lover from coming Angelo went up the back passage to his study. his mind trying to decided which problem too try to tackle first. he wanted Marissa to feel safe and love here but he also wanted love. but by the way his heart had been reacting to what he said there was no way Marissa would not be hurt if he had a lover over. picking up the nearest object he threw it, the glass bottle shattering nicely on the far wall. "why Angelo why? you always do this, why?" he stormed over to the desk and sat down, the chair protesting to its mistreatment.

Marissa walked across his parlor and into his bed room he sat down on his bed rubbing his face a little, doing his best not to smear the make up.
He felt very close to crying though.

"did not go the way you hope did it?" Alanna sat on a chair the light of a candle illuminating her sewing. she was fixing the dress that had been damaged earlier that evening. "so what did he say?"

Marissa shook his head, "Nothing bad...I just... I was to scared to say anything... I knew what I wanted to say...but I wasn't sure that I could.." He said sadly.

" well in time you will say what is needed. your not the frist one to have problems." she looked closely at the stick she had just made. "from the way I hear it, Caspian and him danced around the subject for years before ether of them said what they truly felt." she looked up and smiled. "would you like to change again?"

"I just want to get into my Pajamas...I think I am quite done for the night" He said softly, "I would not think the master would want to deal with me tonight.." He said softly.

"alright, would you like to read for a bit before you go to sleep?" setting aside her sewing she got up and opened up the wardrobe. pulling out one of night dress' she held it up for Marissa to look at. "would you like this one?"

Marissa just nodded as he looked over the dress, "mmh that's fine" He said softly.
He sighed and looked up at the ceiling, "I'm not terribly tired...so I suppose a boo would be fine..."

walking over Alanna helped him remove his dress and corset. "it would be best if you dont were any corset when you sleep, even the sleeping ones can harm you. they were not made for your body."

Marissa nodded and blushed a little as it was removed, he suddenly felt very exposed, the flatness of his upper body now fairly obvious. The way his shirt hung down made him look everything like a normal young man.

dropping the dress over his body she tightened a tie in the back that pulled in a panel on the front, which made it look like he had a small round chest. "what would you like me to get for you to read?"

Marissa shrugged, "Anything is fine...since they are all new books" He said with a small smile as he scooted back on the bed.

walking out Alanna found one of the books and brought it back. "I fund this one quite interesting when they were posting it in the papers."

Marissa nodded and took the book with a smile as he sat back, "Thank you" He said softly as he opened it, "What kind of book is it?"

"this one? oh it a great love story, but it has fight's and escapes and captures." her voice became a bit dreamy as she spoke. "there is this good part where the hero of the story find his love but only to discover she is not who she said she was. oh it was brilliantly written."

Marissa laughed and smiled a little, "Sounds like a good story then" He said softly, "Thank you..I'm sure this will help me relax a little.... I'll probably just read my self to sleep, just check back now and then I suppose..."
