“It’s just something I have been making. At first it was going to be for me…but.” She waved her hands at her boobs.” These came in and I can’t fit it. It looks great on you, and the undergarments work wonders for it.” Smiling she held out her hand. “Shall we go and show you off now?”

Marissa smiled and nodded a little, "Yes of course" He said softly as he followed her out. He was so happy to have these new clothes.
So pretty with all the ruffles, he was only sad that his little black shoes did not quite match. But really the dress was enough for now he wouldn't pester his new master for new shoes as well.

“ah yes how could I have not see in.” the tailor said as they walked out. “now that we have her measurements we will get to work on more.” On the counter there was a small stack of brown paper packages, one of the other girls picked up a few of them and carried them out the front door.
“and that color is a good fit for you.” Angelo walked up to Marissa and slowly walked around him. “yes a very good fit, it improves your complexion nicely.” Turning he held out a bill, Marissa could not see how big a bill it was. “I think that should cover this quite nicely.”
The tailor looked it over and nodded. “oh quite nicely indeed, it will also cover her winter wear which will be sent up last.” By now the girls had cleared away the packages, all of them going to the carriage. “it was a pleasure doing business with you, sir.”
“I will be back in a week or so for my new suit, it will be ready by then?” Angelo held out his hand for Marissa to come.
“oh yes my lord it will be done by then.” The man happily waved at them as they left the shop.

Marissa followed Angelo happily. He held the skirts in his hands and walked out the door onto the sidewalk.
He spun a little, "Do you really think it looks good on me sir?" He asked, beaming a little.

“I think all the young ladies will feel that you out shine them all.” Angelo’s eyes twinkled in the star and gas light. “Now come we have more stops to make before the night is out, and I don’t want you to fall asleep too soon.” Holding out his hand Angelo help Marissa into the carriage. Saying something to the driver he stepped in himself. “Now this is going to be a bit longer than the others so if you wish to nap I will wake you when we get there.”

Marissa nodded a little and hopped up on the seat beside Angelo. He sat back and looked out the window happily. He wondered if he'd be treated so well when all this was done. He shrugged a bit, it didn't matter this was a nice night.
He didn't notice that he fell asleep, and he didn't notice that at some point he toppled sideways, head resting on Angelo's arm.

Gently moving Marissa so as not to wake him, Angelo put him in a more comfortable potion. His head resting on Angelo’s chest, his arms wrapped around Marissa. Maybe this young man just needed the right type of wooing. He already seemed much more comfortable around Angelo. Reaching under the seat with his other hand Angelo pulled out a small package and laid it on Marissa’s lap. When he woke he would find the present for him. inside the package was a pair of gloves that should fit the boy, so that he could look more like a lady, as no proper lady would go without gloves…. Or a hat. “We must go to the hatters before the night is out.” Angelo muttered to himself.

Marissa snuggled against Angelo a little, but other than that he did not stir.
He was so very comfortable like this. At the moment he had no idea how very much he enjoyed being wrapped up in some one else's arms. But in this carriage Marissa experienced the deepest and most refreshing sleep he had ever had.

Feeling quite content Angelo slowly petted Marissa hair, his fingers slowly working through it. The clatter of the horse’s hooves faded into softer clops as they headed out of the city onto a dirt road. After some time on this road Angelo pulled out his watch and checked the time. Yes they were making good time, for they had a few places to see before stopping for the night. It was a pity they could not take the train, it sounded so fine Angelo thought. The problem with the train was that the tracks had to be laid down before it could go places and as of yet the tracks did not go that far. Maybe next year they could ride the train when they went in for the new fashions. As the sounds changed outside Angelo gently shook Marissa awake.

Marissa mumbled a bit and sat up rubbing his eyes a little. He yawned softly and looked at Angelo.
"where are we now sir?" He asked softly.

“Not that far outside London,” gently Angelo poked the package on Marissa’s lap. “We are traveling to my country home. I thought it best that we go there for a bit so that you can get used to the running of my house and I can find out what your good at. Maybe in the fall we shall return to London for the season?” Angelo waited for Marissa to open the package.

Marissa nodded a bit and then looked down at the package. His eyes widened a bit, he started to unwrap it slowly, "mmh? This is mine right? What is it" He asked as he pulled the paper all the way off. His eyes lit up again and his smiled brightly.

“I thought that since we had gotten you a nice dress it would be wise to get you nice gloves.” Angelo smiled back at Marissa enjoying the happiness that the gloves brought the younger man. “We also should be arriving at my cobblers soon. You will need a few different pairs of boots and shoes.” Pausing Angelo opened the curtain all the way. Beyond the window fields of farmers passed by. The golden colors muted in the moon light. The moon light also brought a pale glow to Angelo.

Marissa smiled and pulled the gloves on, he wiggled his fingers a bit and smiled brightly. "I've never had gloves..." He said softly as he looked at his hands.
He took a deep breath and then glanced out the window, "And it's been ages since I've had a decent pair of boots" He said softly watching the scenery pass by.

“When you were with your other family did you ever learn to ride? I have a few horse that may be a good ladies ridding horse.” It was slightly odd to Angelo knowing that Marissa was a boy but also knowing that he wanted to be a she. He would have to remember to treat him as one. Which meant none of the rides like Caspian and him had done so many years ago. He would have to remember to order a saddle for Marissa. He could not see Marissa ridding the saddle like he did, but it would have to be special made for it would be a bit uncomfortable for Marissa to ride side saddle.

Marissa nodded a little, "Uh-huh.. I used to accompany my young master on hunting trips.." He said softly. He kicked his legs a little, eager to get to the cobblers and try on new shoes.
"We never went far afield... I can rid sidesaddle and regularly..." He added.

“Which do you prefer?” Angelo knew that there were new fashions that allowed woman to ride regularly but he had not thought to order some. If Marissa preferred to ride that was he would send the order back as soon as he could. It would be wrong to prohibit the boy his choice of ridding. “I enjoy ridding around my estate, and I would like it very much when your feel ready for it if you would come ridding with me.” Angelo’s eyes twinkled at the thought that he would have someone to ride with. He missed his evening rides. The scenery beyond the window changed as they sound of the horse’s hooves became clacks again. Not as loud as they had been in London but louder than they had been. Now they were passing by little houses in the middle of small fields that slowly grew smaller till the fields were just gardens, then they disappeared all together to become row houses with little shops on the ground floor.

Marissa shrugged, "I suppose if it was casual riding... sidesaddle.. But were I to go off hunting or some such, the male way is more practical." He said softly.
He smiled up at Angelo, "Really though...you'd take me out riding?" He asked leaning on his knees a little.

“I used to ride around my estate with my young friend Caspian but he has gone away to America and so now I have no one to ride with.” Angelo’s fingers twirled Marissa hair around themselves. “I have missed having someone to ride with, I do not like to ride alone.” The carriage came to a stop outside a shop. The windows were filled with all the latest fashions of shoes and some which were horribly out of date. Stepping out Angelo held out his hand to Marissa and waited.

Marissa climbed out with a smile on his face, "Ahh It's been a while since I've ridden" He said softly as he looked over at the window and grinned happily.
So many shoes! If he wasn't so exhausted from how late it was he would have been running to the window cheerfully.

Seeing how tired Marissa was Angelo decided that it would be best to finish shopping here and then going to the estate. At least Marissa could get some sleep in the carriage, Angelo would have to remember to get the blanket for the trunk in the back. The door opened on a nice looking lady who smiled as she let them in. “good evening Angelo. I see you have a new lost sheep to buy for.” Angelo smiled as she lead them to a set of chairs that looked plush. “And what color would the young….” She looked closely at Marissa. “Master or miss, which is it?”

Marissa sat down, he looked a little panicked by her question. He chewed his lip and wrung his hands a bit, "I-I'm a boy..." He muttered sadly, he looked at the floor a little sadly.

The woman looked up at Angelo as she took off Marissa battered shoes. “it is miss Marissa.” Angelo said in a kind voice. Nodding the woman turned back to Marissa.
“Other than Black dress boots and shoe’s is there a color you would like?” as she spoke she quickly jotted down measurements of his foot, ankle and length.

"I have lots of lavender dresses and Maroon dresses coming in..." Marissa said scratching his head, "I...I'm not sure what would go with that... Lavender seems like a bad color to make shoes..." He said chewing his lip. He smiled, "A Dark purple would go with them all wouldn't it?"

“Yes I can have a few dark purple ones made up.” Standing up she walked into a back room. Angelo smiled and leaned back in the chair.
“I hope that your shoe’s have not been hurting you.” He said absently.
“But I could also have a set of ball shoes made up in a color to match your dresses when you get them.” She said as she came back in carrying a box. “Here we go,” sitting back down next to Marissa she pulled out a set of dark black walking boots. “Let’s see how these fit.” Gently she pushed them on and tied them up. “Now take a walk around the room and see if they pinch anywhere.”
