Well if it doesn't smell bad and if it's not mushy/slimey, I would say its probably fine to eat. Most fruit is okay to eat if it's a little overripened (which could include discoloration/soft squishy to the feel). Just go by what you feel. If you think it could be bad, then don't eat it. I would look at how brown it is and then see what it smells like and how it feels before I tried it.

I'm kinda eating around the brown. XD

its just i work at a customer care and we have old people who don't know how to run a cpu and are all alone so no one can show them and its impossible to explained to them in simpler terms than I am already useing very very simple words to explain it.

@Cami and Allan: Woah that is really weird! When I first read about the mouse in the trashcan I assumed it was dead but it is even freakier that it was alive!
My house had nice problems 6 years ago in our basement and I remember seeing a dead mouse lying on the floor.

I have a feeling that some may be in one of the boxes in my closet, but I literally can't get into my closet, I have a side table dealie in the way since I can't use my closet anyway..... it's got something sticking out of the wall, I think it is an air duct maybe, but it blocks the WHOLE closet, I have maybe a foot of space before it.... if it wasn't for this stupid thing, I'd have a small walk-in closet
