Someone actually caught their laptop on fire at my university.
'Twas quite entertaining, though not for them. I think someone actually caught the whole thing on video. Poor kid.

I try to keep the vent clear, but aside from that, I do really do anything. It does get restarted about once a month for general updates though usually.

So far It's done ok, had it about a year, I don't keep it in my lap though, I put in on a folding chair and set in front of where ever I'm at.

I will say it's very rare that I actually shut mine completely down. I may need to do that at some point today. Just to give it a break.
And I'll be taking a Mene break after a while. I've gotta clean house here in a little bit.

Has anyone had the problem of the machine building more items then what you ask it to?

I've not had a problem at all. I've built two of everything, even the tree, a set for me and a friend who hasn't been able to log on during the event.

I've been doing that too, making a set me and for my mom, cause she's usually to busy to come on. But tonight when I asked it to build 2 trees, I ended up building 5, and I didn't ask it to.

I'll wait till the price for it is higher probably, then try to sell them. May as well maximize the investment, lol.
