@anime: I love spell check cause I suck at spelling. Almost failed those tests in middle/high school. >_< I want to murder whoever came up with those lists. I can't believe half the words they made us spell. Course, all of them were from the English language. ...supposedly... >_>

@Hayzel - Yeah, I know, people poking in curiously and leaving. We seem to have the opposite effect because we are awesome! :D

@Wifey - Ah well. Not every show can be an awesome show. Hell, some shows that are awesome shows stop being awesome. I liked the first season of Heroes. I regretted watching the second season and I deny that it even existed after that!

@white: Oh, I actually really loved spelling bees and spelling tests. Ironically, it's reading comprehension I always did so badly on. (Ironic because my chosen profession involves a lot of reading, writing, and teaching.) The problem with spellcheck is that it'll miscorrect. Recently a bunch of students' papers had "registrar" in place of "register" -- or, my favorite: "scared music" instead of "sacred music." Kind of changes the meaning. :P

@Cookie, yes we are all awesome. Us flowers are pretty, and AWESOME!

I hate automatic correction type spellcheck. That shit bugs me! But as for basic spellcheck, it needs more love man! If the student isn't smart enough to double check the spellchecker's work, that's their own stupid problem. :P

@For-chan: True, very true. And the mis-corrected words are actually lovely sources of hilarity among TAs and professors. :D

I had a teacher take a point off my paper for 'misspelling' something I didn't misspell. It was quite amusing....

@Scholar - Not to mention, that spellcheck doesn't have a full dictionary of words! I'm forever inserting words into it that it's like "Oh hai! You spelled this wrong!" And I'm like :illgetu: *sighs* So relying completely on a machine not capable of logic is the students' own stupid faults.

I don't really trust spell check it always says I spell my name wrong. ._.

@Cookie: I found it funny how it was the craze when I was still in school. Then the craze somehow mysteriously disappeared. XD

Know what? I will never be able to spell those Disapp- words correctly. I always put Dissap- instead. Hence I love spellcheck.

@Hitsu - Because names don't go into spell checker. You have to insert them yourself. Right click "Add word" or whatever it takes.

@Hitsu - XD Nah. It's just preloaded with a dictionary and names just aren't in it. That's why we get to add to its dictionary. I write fanfiction and I'm forever adding anime names into it. Or like, Severus Snape. Spellcheck is all "Did you mean Snake!?"

@Hitsu: In Word you can change what language a document is in, somehow. Not sure if it actually works, because apparently all my documents are in Japanese (even though spellcheck checks English...)
