@ Seraph, ya, I had a Gaia account from the very beginning pretty much, but I didn't like it over there. I just recently started up my account over there from a three year hiatus..and ya it's really expensive.
I find that users there don't talk much, they just troll.

Well on Gaia, you really don't need to chat to earn gold.
There are plenty of other ways there to earn gold.

I started....I think a year or two after Gaia first opened.
I used to donate all the time for the monthly items, but now I swear almost everything requires you to purchase it with money.

I've been on gaia for at least 6 or 7 years now. By this point I think I'm entitled to my millions, lol. I've barely spent any real money on the site.

@ Seraph, ya. And I find that the new contribution items over there...are not really all that great. I like the cash shop items a lot.

I like playing zOMG a lot, and you can get quite a bit of gold from that.

I only donated $5 dollars a month when I was over there, if that.
However most of my items I bought with gold that I earned.
I remember buying the Ancient Katana for a around 50,000...now I don't even know how much its worth.

I had the chuck N..(can't spell it) scarf, the nice red flowy one. And now it's going for 600+k.

Yea...the monthly items in my opinion have gone down hill.
I have never purchased anything from the cash shop (waste of money).

But I quit (hiatus) Gaia at least a year ago, and don't plan on going back.

Yea, inflation is crazy on Gaia XP
Then again you have to think how many users it has and the very limited amount of older items.

I have a chyaku norisu for my avatar - plus maybe one or two in storage. I've maybe spent a grand total of 15 or 20 dollars on gaia, period. I bought one cash card in the states, and spent 5 or 10 bucks on paypal. That's it. I'm not big on paying for virtual items in general.

I would rather spend that money on real items instead of items on the internet.
No matter how good the pixels might look on my computer screen. =P

I liked the May monthly items for Gaia, but I wouldn't buy them with real money when I have a bunch of gold to spend. :P I currently inherited a friend's old account, so I'm still going through all the items and selling and hoarding a bunch. MONEY. <33

I've never been on Roliana..don't know why.

I pretty much quit Roli and gave away all my stuff - I just didn't have anything to draw me there anymore. I came here for rps - I'm pretty much only on here for something to do at work now. XD

Just lately when I get money I like to spend it on real life items. =P
I have gone through phases when it comes to that.
For awhile I can't get off sites like this, and then a few months later I quit it all together for awhile.
For example i took a one year hiatus after the Celes Paradi 2008 event.

I went back to Roliana after awhile, and I didn' like the direction they were going.
It just seemed off...along with the games aren't that great.
