Max; If you're talking about the "War - chest- er" thing, I sadly say it "Wooster/Woostah." Otherwise no one knows what I'm talking about. :<
We got the weirdest looks when we first moved here before we caught on to the local "language" xD

In Boston we say Woostah and cah(car) and pakh(park). R is pretty much no longer in existence. It's quite sad

Ugh, inorite? My brother almost got hit in the cross walk a few months ago when some lady couldn't be arsed to pay attention. :<
And the break down lane as the "OMG TRAFFIC SPEED RACER" lane, and honking when the lights change, and... xD I feel kind of sad that it's so very true.

I think that driving can be very scary, and I personally fear the idiots that are out there, but driving itself is easy to catch onto quick.

I feel like I might be able to handle Boston streets, or at least be prepared for them. Sounds like Spain all over again. Drivers there are SO SCARY. :gonk:

I've almost been hit in the crosswalk three times just in my little town. For some reason the people here seem to think that the stop signs are just suggestions. -___-
I had a pair of little old ladies nearly hit me and they gave me a dirty look like it was my fault I was in the crosswalk and they didn't stop at the stop sign.

XD Same here, but that's only an issue on the second largest road in town.. I have to cross twice daily, school and back, and no one stops. They added a crosswalk, but people have sped up lol

Also, the small town definition for wisconsinites in untrue.. >3> Small towns usually have more bars. This town, for example, has at least six at any given time.
The smallest town I've been in in wisconsin, unincorporated and estimated population of under 100, had two or three bars.. XD you could drive through town and not know you were in a town, except for the cluster of *car shop, *gas station, and *bar*bar*bar. 8D;

I am lucky that my university is in the downtown core so there are tons of pedestrians and I never worry about crossing the road.

Bars... I never knew that was a staple of small cities. xD
I have only lived in large cities are suburbs my entire life.

i think the ones about the road, streets, driving, and people being rude are right. when somone smiles at me when im going to work i look at them like their high. when i see a harvard sweatshirt i assume they're a tourist and when i see them actually waiting for ppl to get off the train first b4 they get on. i know the from out of town or strangely polite. but its usually the first
