In the part of the city I live just outside of, I think there's ten or fifteen bars in a three mile radius. :sweat: And, you could probably combine both the Boston and D.C. 'driving rules' to get somewhere near what it is in my area, as they don't have mine up there.

I want to live in a bigger city someday, but I wouldn't blend in very well.. I'm too .. uh.. I dunno. Apathetic, I guess, to be aggressive, so I come off as polite. And I am polite, I guess. But if I didn't want to be, I'd suck at being rude <_<;

@Lathrine: If you specifically mean taxi drivers than I totally agree with you.
The average driver is polite-ish as long as it is not rush hour.

Max; Thought about it, yet. But my dad lived in the south for a while and didn't care for it. Plus the south doesn't tend to have very Homeschool-friendly laws. :< My mom was actually researching such laws a few years ago when my dad's company was talking about migrating south.

Yeah. The cops sit on the other side of the place I have to cross, catching students who cut others off while getting to the parking lot. I liek it when they switch shifts when I'm crossing, then everyone stops for me XD

Oh, today I had to run in front of a big oil rig to cross the road.. and the lady on the other side of traffic was on her phone and didn't notice me, so I stopped in the center of the road to avoid being hit and waited for a line of cars to notice me or stop.. or something. >_> Hate that, hate it so much

Pedestrians always have the right of way where I live too. This allows pedestrians to do some pretty dumb and dangerous things. Although when I am crossing a road alone I am still quite cautious.

@Rainbows: O that really sucks a lot! You barely have any room between you and the cars going by. I did that before. ><

well there isn't much you can do. there are laws but no one follows them. thats y my liscence is being ignore for bus pass. i had to many close calls wth these crazy bastards. It was a yellow i slowed down and i almost got rear ended by a speeding jackass. he almost totalled by ex's precious mustang

I think I'll buy a nice old beater, go to boston, and obey all traffic laws. I'll make sure to wear a helmet lol

*Cowers in a corner* I've heard three ambulances in the past 15 minutes... two of which had police cars behind them... one of which is just down the street from me.

We live in a relatively decent sized city, but the economy issues just hit our area hard within the past year or two... I'm just not used to hearing three or four ambulances in the span of a day ;.;

My mom heard gunshots and a scream and called the police... one of the three ambulances I heard in the span of fifteen minutes went to the house where a pretty little pit bull lives and apparently they had a gurney...

God... Our street itself isn't bad, it's the area immediately around us that's scary...
