It's scary to have something that serious happen close by. I would be scared to walk around at night for a long time if that ever happened around my neighborhood.

Yeah, thankfully I've never gone out at night unless going to the store down the street for my dad or if it got dark while I was out on a walk with my mom, her boyfriend, and the dogs

Eh, pretty decently. Listening to some music I snagged from my mom's laptop.

On the discussion of bad goings ons, we've had stuff like that happen around her. Not really any ambulances around my street, but we've had plenty of police cars. I live on a dead end street, so if people are trying to get away from the cops and take the turn down our street, they're pretty SOL. I live in a very small and calm town, actually, but we have a lot of gangsters in the area, so crap like that is just about the only thing bad that happens. And our neighbors a few houses down are gangsters. They're actually very kind people, but they get into their fare share of trouble.

Oh, that reminds me of this one time people were trying to run away from the cops and we suddenly heard this car fly down the street and stop out front of our house, and then we heard police cars and shouting. Looking out the window, there was a ton of cops out in the street and some in the field to the side of the dead end and they had guns on the people that had stopped. @[email protected];; It was so freaky. They finally got the guys and everything, but it was right in front of our house!

For those of you talking about getting your drivers liscenses (by 2011? x_x) and roadtrips and such, I highly encourage you to do such as soon as possible and to see as much of the world/go on as many road trips/push yourself a bit.

After all... the world's going to end in 2012... one way or another!

What if you don't want to see the world, tho? What's so great about the world? I'd rather spend my last year and a half with loved ones, doing things that I love. Driving is not one of those things.
