My college is so strict on their English courses because of its reputation. x.x
ENGL1101 I thought for sure I got a 2.5GPA or lower in. o.o;; somehow I pulled a 3.0.
ENGL1102 I thought I was doing good in until I got the big explication grade back, which was horrible where my in class explications were good. So I thought once again I would get a 2.5 out of the class. xD I guess my research paper saved my 3.0. xD
But I was hoping for a 3.5 GPA in that class. T_T

Ugh, I'm so laggy. My computer seems to overheat easily with certain places (not this one) but it makes multitasking difficult. I'm buying an external fan for my lap top that should be here on Wednesday and hopefully make things easier.

I think education systems are sometimes kind of bad in that..they don't account for different learning rates, and so they tell people they're behind or whatever. And it's always one way of learning. It doesn't fit everyone. I happen to adapt fairly well to different methods most of the time but my brother gets bored easy so he's not doing so well. he's not stupid, he's just bad at paying attention. His learning needs to be more active ..

Platinum, with no child left behind here, that is an excellent example of how school so not account for different learning rate.
My county pulled the plug on us taking some of our core classes with colleges we have contracts with because of that program. x.x
Most of our students learned faster that the georgia education system had to offer. Hell, even the exit exams we easy as hell. x.x
And those learning at slower rates were also screwed over, because even though they lowered the standards, they never did anything to help those students out. x.x It is crazy.
The entire georgia education system I honestly think needs a re haul.xD
