Someone basically describe it to me as general chem you go foward and make compounds. Like you know what happens when you combine say two Hydrogen and Oxygen = H2O AKA water.
Organic you do the opposite. You've given from H2O and told to figure out how do you get that, made from what elements, energy lost, gain, etc. @

xD Yeah I passed my physics high school classes with no problem... can't really grasp why I'm struggling so much with it in college. :/
