yea... I love prom dresses and stuff >w<
When I go for the 4th me and a friend are gonna get a group together and go to dinner in prom dresses. Of coarse it wont be around any type of school occasion or anything like that so we will most likely get a lot of questions/stares...

I don't mind dressing up a little oddly now and then. But you have to be able to wear your 'odd' of choice WELL and with enough poise that not so many people try to make fun of you. I'm just not a frills and ribbons person, so I'd feel uncomfortable wearing them and that would ruin my confidence. A nice Victorian getup mixed with some straps and gears I could handle.

haha... I live in a town where people just dress in blue jeans and t-shirts... I feel like the odd duck out since I run around in quite the opposite...

I like the tshirts and stuff that are considered "scene".

But, I don't like them because they are scene, I like them because black/white with bright coloured images = love

I don't look like a scenefag though, so i can get away with those tshirts and not look like a scenefag.

In high school I knew this girl named Courtney who had the oddest style. To prom I saw her where one I'd see a granny wearing. Alot of people thought she was the oddest person, but there seemed to be an equal amount that understood what she was and told her how awesome she was for not caring what others thought. For her, everyday was wacky tacky day lol. Makes me more interested in what I like wearing rather than what others like.

Hm, sounds like me in High School. I was equally shunned and admired. I ignored them all.

Everytime I tell my mom I like some type of clothing or something she says "is that whats in style now?" She doesn't mean to be condescending, just wants to be informed, but it annoys the crap out of me. Every time I respond "Mom, I don't care about what's in style, just what I like wearing" I don't know how she forgets that I say it each time.

Man, after seeing Fan talk about wearing prom dresses out I want to go out in my one formal dress. I just need to get some black or white heels to match it >_>
