They're Canadian, I'm Canadian.
I love bass, and Geddy Lee is awesome.
Geddy's voice is unique, I like that.
I'm a big fan of Progressive Rock, and even if that era has left, it still has it's sound in their new material.
Lots of reasons why I like 'em.
They have become my favourite band, the first concert I ever went to was back in 2008, it was Rush.

If I'm instructing someone I say "control c and then control v".
But other than that I say copypasta. :sweat:

I'm unzipping the zipped files right now. Once they're all unzipped, I'll put them on my DeviantArt gallery

I see! I do that when I am programming and I need to build (usually Ctrl + B) and Run it (Ctrl + F5) OR if I am using photoshop and need a new layer Ctrl + Shift + N

@Urbeth: command line... *shudder* I avoid that if I can. I'm afraid of accidentally doing something horrid to my computer. I can manage to eff everything up in the GUI without help.

Awww! I know I am still intimidated, but this last semester I had to do a lot of stuff in it because of Subversion and ssh we used to access data. I messed up a couple times and learned some lessons. ^^;

Okay, Wallflowers was moving WAY too fast for me.
@Rad: I was relieved when Apple came out with the smaller wireless keyboard, because mostly it's exactly like my laptop keyboard, so working at desktop/laptop are very similar now.

Ergonomics, ergonomics. I'm glad I switched to a desktop for the posture -- using my laptop right now actually is making my hands hurt -- but it's a pain moving from mouse to keyboard. Sometimes literally.

^ This.
I make zazabar fix my computer whenever it fucks up.
He's smart with computers. I'm retarded.
Okay not retarded, I can fix basic problems, especially with software, and especially with older versions of windows, like XP and older, Vista I'm still learning to deal with, and I've only been on a Windows 7 computer once (Jeff's).

I switched to a Mac around 2003, so the last Windows I dealt with was Win 95 (I think...), the version where you had to un-integrate IE from everything.
----------
My favorite version of Windows was NT, which my father, who was a brilliant programmer, had installed on our home computer until about 1999 or 2000.

Windows 7 for me has been...alien. I was used to XP. And had been using my Mac for a couple months. The first few days were really weird, but I got used to it. Then there were things that I just couldn't find. And that was really annoying. I don't really like my start menu...but I am dealing. *sigh*

@monstahh: They're pricey, I agree -- but I was so relieved to buy a computer that didn't crash once a week. :P
@Urbeth: My iMac is super fast. There was an old problem where the graphics memory was routed through the main memory chips, but they fixed that in recent generations.

I wish I could be running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and Sabayon Linux 5.2 KDE 64-bit.
But I'm stuck with Windows XP Pro 32-bit. :C

My computer only crashes because it overheats.
Because it's like, superpowered laptop. And it's black. And it's well...I run it at max settings ALL day long. :lol:
They're only supposed to run for like 2 hours on max until they cool off again.
