Oh dear. See, to me he will forever be the Doc. I saw him in Hamlet, but all I kept thinking was "He's the Doctor!" haha.

xD I had only seen him in Goblet of Fire when they first announced it was going to be him and I was like o_O . But I got used to it after a while and he's now one of my favorite actors. Love him. ^_^

Yeah, I get that way with actors and their characters sometimes. Like the guys who played Harold and Kumar in "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle." I haven't even seen the movie and that's what I always call them no matter what show they are on!

Yup. I really hope he gets more famous in America. I hate having to explaaiiinnn to my friends who David Tennant is!! and they all know who Hugh Laurie is.

I hope so too. He's really fantastic. At this point I don't think there is any part that he can't play. He has such a wide range.

Well, right now they only have the latest season of Dr. Who on demand. I imagine my one friend probably has a few previous season as she has become obsessed with the show.

And Hugh Laurie is House, therefore you cannot not know him. xD

My point exactly. Hugh Laurie is from England, but he has got himself fame in the U.S. In fact, a lot of my friends dont even know he's British at all. I want David Tennant to be the next Hugh Laurie!! And the fact that he was in Harry Potter, AND the way we all tend to love Scottish accents over here.... certainly can't hurt. :XD

But if we are going to be honest, most of the people in the U.S. who know of Hugh Laurie probably don't really know anything about any of his previous work. That, and he does a good American accent.

Mmmm, British accents = <3

That's true..
I just really hope Tennant stars in a big show like House someday. ^_^

I've been wanting to get the seasons on DVD but they're expensive. It's around $100 a season. D: I've been getting the episodes slowly over iTunes instead.

I saw Hugh Laurie when he was in Jeeves and Wooster. That was a funny show. My Uncle and I used to watch it.

Lostin: Maybe someday. He's not that old (at least he doesn't look it), so he has time.

Twethereal: Ew, yeah that is way too much money. ;_;

*RANDOM INTERJECTION!*
hee.
I love Matt Smith, tho to be honest...he seems like he's always in a pissy mood. >_> is that just me? Oh and I'm digging the Amy/Rory thing....sort of hoping they'll stay as a double companion for 11.
BUTT...I also kinda hope his next companion is someone who isn't white. XD I loved Martha...but they need to bring in a south asian, the shows based in England after all! :D

Lostin: He just needs to get on a good show in the States. ^_^

Either way, I can't afford to spend my money on such luxury stuff. ^_^;

Where?
On iTunes they're about 25 to 30 dollars a season, but I'd kind of rather have the DVD because I can watch it wherever.

@love: He sort of seems that way sometimes. But mostly he talks a lot so I don't have time to notice. xD

On Amazon, they look like they are around $50 USD new.

Wow, you're right! I guess I hadn't checked Amazon in a while. The last time I saw it was about twice that. Now if I could just find a job...

Twethereal: Well, it does seem to say they were originally considerably higher prices. And a job does help. ^_^; If only I wasn't already in a lot of debt...

It's been hard for me to get a job right now because the last and only job I've ever had (even though I had been there for two and a half years) went out of business and I have no work references. :/ I haven't been getting any calls back from any of the jobs I've applied for. It's frustrating.

It's definitely hard with this economy. I hear lots of people accepting jobs below their abilities because they simply need the income and there is nothing available. I know tons of people who just graduated and are trying to find teaching jobs... Which in this area, there could be as many as 100+ people applying for 1 position.

Uh... It maybe... I know from where I graduated from, lots of teachers were taking positions of librarians and school aids in the hopes of having an in at the school for when positions did open. What kinds of schools are you looking at? (like elementary, secondary or college)

Elementary would be my first choice. But I'll be certified for K-12 I think.

What's even worse is that I'm hoping to be an artist as my career (either in graphic design or traditional art, maybe both) and it's really expensive. D: Although, I'm getting good at drawing and maybe I can start selling some of my work for at least some income.

Well, I'd definitely keep your options open. As in, you'll probably need to move to possibly get a job. What exactly is the degree you get for being a librarian?
