DMQ: Have you tried getting any of the free art programs to keep practicing with? D: I know some people use a GIMP program, and you can get a trial version of SAI to see if you like it. (uses a paid version of OpenCanvas, but they don't sell it anymore)

i have gimp but i was so spoiled with cs2 i jsut cant use it much

you can get light versions of both Photoshop and Painter. These are fun to draw with. I use GImp, and it is really good for a freebie. My Linux system came with it, and it works perfectly with that. I did have some bugs with Windows, however. You just download the latest stable version from Gimp.org

Oh, and if you buy a Wacom tablet you get Photoshop Elements and Painter Essential with it. These are the "light" versions I meant.

I had to buy the really expensive Adobe suite for my college courses, so I use the CS4 versions, but I would be just as happy with these lighter versions

well i got a wacom tablet i just ahve to ffind where the cds are then at the time i had cs2 it might be in my old photoshop box lemme check

You can try to use it- you mean the serial number? Sometimes you can put them on two computers. It will tell you if they don't work for it. I don't think a CS2 serial will work on the PSE though.

DMQ- you should be able to do it if you have a valid serial. I was able to put Dreamweaver on two of mine with the same serial. I believe 2 is the limit though.

I hope they won't do it. Its item release night. >.< So I'm trying to gear up just in case

It is advisable to stock up on gears to ensure everything runs smoothly at item release time.

Well really when you get a program like that you are paying for the license to use it (the serial) so if you bought it once you should be able to use it again, and you could call support services maybe?
