Facade: Oh, true enough! Much as I didn't like his vague allusions to Islam near the end of the series, I loved the concept that, as long as you were being good and noble, you got to heaven no matter who you professed to worship.

I didn't read the last three books in the series, so I can't agree or disagree. :gonk:
But yes, I'm glad he was on a level playing field, and didn't have that nasty twang of Bible Thumper in his work. :P I think he, above a lot of people, is one of the TRUE Christians. He's the ideal kind that people always refer to when they're talking about that "Christian" way of life or whatever. :lol: There's so few of those out there in the world! :gonk:
