Lol. Yea. So what's on your schedule of things to do today?

*sighs* well... i got back about an hour ago from taking the kid i nanny to school and i had to stop at the grocery store too... so until 3 i am just kind of hanging out until then... then i help the kid with homework and bring him to his swimming class for 5... then dinner and back on mene lol... but basically that is my every weekday... i am a cook and chauffeur as well as a babysitter lol

so how long you working for?

I work from 7am-5pm or later everyday, in an office... and usually, unless the boss has a project for me to do (i'm an intern graphic designer), i sit here at my desk and play various games, or talk on Mene.

yup i am a real live in nanny... but the gig is over the end of june and i go back to maine... i can't wait to go home!! i miss my family and i miss having a regular job... not that it is really hard doing this one... i just want to be selfish and not have to take care of anyone for a change

Wow, that's awesome. Are the kid's parents super busy or something? Or are they the stereotypical rich parents that have "better things to do"? Lol, i keed. But I know there are families like that around...

And yea, it's fun when the projects come around. But sometimes they just have me crank out conference flyers and stuff like that, and it gets a little annoying when the 3 owners of the company can't seem to agree on one design that I make. I go back and forth between designs, changing minuscule details, but hey. That's what they want, that's what they're going to get. After all, they hired me to give them what they want, and that's what I try to give them.

well it is just a dad and a son... the mom lives in texas... the dad is a lawyer and he works like 10+ hours a day so i do all the after school stuff that the dad cannot... the kid has had 5 nannies in the past 2 years or so... but i don't work weekends, so the dad is around some

i can see why it might be a little frustrating, tae... but you won't be doing that forever, nope nope!

Awww.... that's sad... but I'm glad the dad is trying to give his son the care he needs by hiring nannies.
And yea, it won't last forever, but it'll probably last for at least 4 years. I'm probably gonna work here every summer and then a while after I graduate from college. This place treats me really well, and I'm very fortunate to have this job.

i used to work in a group home and i can't help but diagnosing this kid... i feel like he'd do better if he was around his dad more... or his mother too... i know the kid would rather live with his mom but he is forced to live with the dad... so i feel bad

and that is good that you have a job like that for the summer... i mean, i had to get like poopy retail or cooking jobs over the summers between semesters... i'm glad you like it there enough to stay... nothing worse then having a job you hate
