that kind of sounds like a situation i was in, facade... a friend of mine from a different school, his prom date had to cancel on him last minute and he already had everything planned out so i was a quick fill in... so i went to a prom... just not my own...
also, i think most high school boys are like that... just trying to be super manly, got something to prove bologna
