For some reason this brings back a memory... -flashback start-
I was in kindergarten, sitting at a desk with some other students. I said 'I HATE UNICORNS!!' and my friend was all 'AMAGAWD! YOU SAID HATE! SWEARWORD!!' -end flashback-
How was that relevant? I do not know.

I had a similar experience when I first used the word 'nonsense' in the playground (because my dad would always say it if he saw something he didn't like)

I remember flipping my brother off before I knew what it meant. I just knew it was bad and I wasn't supposed to do it.

I remember the first time I used a swear word in front of my Mom.
She didn't say anything, she just looked so disappointed....

I also named the corn we were growing 'Steve' and 'The Twins' :drool:

On a family trip I said 'sucking' in a relevant sentence and my sister screamed at my Mum, 'MUM! Zea said f***ing!!'
I didn't even know it was a word back then, I was 4.

Jeanna - I don't think I've ever sweared in front of my parents, although I did while yelling at my (younger) brother twice, and he was totally thrilled. I'm such a bad big sister!

I had two older brothers, so I always emulated them....

Oh, oh, I used to build fairy-houses. Dig a little hole in the ground, line it with moss, pile feathers in one corner for a bed and I think I even found a piece of broken mirror and a broken eyebrow-brush that I used for a dresser.. and of course, seeds and nuts and berries for food in the pantry.

That reminds me, last year, me and a friend made a cubby house that took up her entire living/dining area :insane: it was epic.

okay zea. I just wanted to know if she's old enough to be knowing those words!

Kat - I didn't know the words, but I heard someone say it once (when I was pretty young) and I knew it was a really really bad word - dunno how I figured that out though.

The first time I heard the "f" word was from a little 5 year old.
He was quite a piece of work....

I was an odd child, I made stop-motion photo animation whatsits of lego people killing each other :drool:

Wow, Jeanne.. I vaguely remember a fellow 4-year-old calling me something pretty nasty in the playground - I don't think he knew what it meant himself though.

not that I can say anything. I had a dungeon built of legos.

my family doens't swear.

I'd talk to animals and trees all the time. Most of my classmates considered me a bit of a harmless nut.

I still talk to animals and myself constantly. sometimes the wind too.

Nuts. It's done, and I still have 40 spanners left.
Oh well...

I'm not sure if I want to try to use everything I have.
