Yea there will be one no matter what.

But, guess the thread killers live on.

That's a depressing concept, if you think about it. Someday, there will be a site killer. =O

No site killer on here. D;

This was the second avatar site I joined back in Oct. 2007.

Well logically everything will have a killer someday. I mean, Menewsha can't possibly be forever.

Well, the future cannot be predicted.

As long it is now, lets just enjoy it. :D

I have seen a lot of growth on this site. I remember there was bout 10k members when I joined. Now there is over 80k. O_O

That's what I thought would happen when I got into Kinsaki. Except it just stagnated. D:

God, haven;t heard that song in ages!
I think I got something to add to download list.

Yeah, there has been a lot of growth here, remember when the first event happened and there was just less than 250 of us here.

One day I think I will check out Kinsaki.

250? My, you've been here a while. D:
Unless something drastic changes on Kinsaki, it's not worth going to, in my opinion. It's nice to be in a small community, but Mene's small enough too, and it's active. Kinsaki's kind of like a really tiny guild on Gaia. xD

A thread full of thread killers is the ultimate forum paradox. Ironically enough we're ocationally one of the more active threads during events. XD

I find the concept of a site killer extremely sad. And yet, I agree - logically, some time in the future of every site it must happen eventually.

Edit: I used to be on Kinsaki but my account got deleated without explanation (it probably got lost in a glitch or something). I had only been there for a couple of days or so, so I never bothered to retrieve the account again. :P

This thread is sort of a giant suck it to thread killing, in a way. xD

Edit: Youn, they had a giant site crash once. We call it the Kinkout. Basically, the whole system crashed and they had to back it up like 3 months or something stupid. I lost my account too, and disappeared for a year. =P

Hehe, it is! I find it hilarious when people start to get competitive in trying to kill the thread by making lots of ninja posts and actually hoping no one will answer (especially in the last day of an event due to the last post contest).

That's a fantastic nickname for a very sad happening. XD;;

Yeah, been here since the second day the site opened, only reason I have the 07 VDay items, could never quest for those.

Yeah, there have been part of a few smaller commuities I left because it was just not too active or talkative. Made it hard to enjoy and get any items.

I think the best way to kill a thread would be to be really boring. Like I could reply with "Yeah, totally."

@ AkashaHeartilly:

Yea, it was bothering me for quiet some time and got back into listening to the Bloodhound Gang because of my boyfriend. He has their songs too. XD

@ Hermes:

Yea, she has been on for a very long time.

Some of us take a break from here or other sites.

I have an account on Kinsaki too. I am member number 136 on there. :D

I do go on there here and there.

@ Youn:

What had happen on Kinsaki that the accounts that were created after April 21, 2008, I think were deleted because the person that was in charge of the site, forgot to backup the user's information on what they had. Basically, almost everyone had to start over. I was one of the lucky ones that did not have to start over.

Akasha: Right! If it's too quiet, you're bound to lose interest. It'g be like talking to a wall at times.
But on the other hand, a too fast moving forum just gets over whelming and confusing, at least to me.

Hermes: For me, it's usually being in the "wrong" time zone compared to the other inhabitants of a thread or writing too much. XD
Walls of texts can be very efficient murder weapons on threads.

Sakura_Madison: Just my luck, I think I signed up on April 24th or somewhere around there? XD

My weapon of killing has always been a compulsive desire to post whenever I'm not the most recent poster. Eventually, the thread is over, but I've replied anyway, and then I end up the killer.

Sakura_Madison: I'm not sure but I think I did.
It was around that time I switched from one alias to another on new forums (old accounts still have the old username, I'd be too confused if I changed it). :3

... I have way too many avatar sites accounts than I reasonably should need. <.<
I just get swept away by the novelty of things sometimes.

My goal on Kinsaki always was to be famous. xD That's why I stayed for so long while it was dead. I knew that everyone knew me, because there were like 10 active users.
Mene? A little harder to be well known on.

Ha, Hermes, I think we kill same in the same way.

I may have joined Kinsaki, now that sounds familliar, but before that giant deletage, which was stupid.

Been a while since I listened to them and now I want too. Mope was a favorite of friends to play while djing just to piss off people.

Sakura_Madison: Really? Interesting! Perhaps we've met on some other site then? :3
Or perhaps I have a virtual namesake? (If so, I sure hope it's a nice person. Wouldn't want to get a bad reputation...)

Hermes: Hehe, becoming famous soudds like a lot of fun! XD
Though I'm sure it'd mean a lot of work too.

Well I figure if I never really change my avatar, at least I can be recognizable, even if I'm not exactly, famous. xD
