I think people become rude because they fear that they are not important and must make themselves feel important

I'm the same way. That's why my family aren't huge fans of Jehovah's Witnesses; they prostilatize way too much! Yeah, I've got a friend who's one, but he figured out a long time ago that trying to get me to convert would be epic fail. Thus, he no longer tries to convert me or my friend (she let him know she wasn't changing either...in more colorful words).

I've actually got a best friend and relatives who are witches. It doesn't affect me at all. In fact, I actually think the wiccan religion makes more sense than the Christian one...

people want rules for their fashions so thay can say "see I am doing it right I fit in" even when they dont fit in. they are just the followers not the makers. its like in steampunk. you can tell a new person most of the time, they are the airship pirates who look at you and say "your not steam punk where are your gears and goggles."

Yeah Rainbow and Pocky, I can't stand Legalism. It's just so takes way from the truth and puts people off from wanting to embrace it. Man made rules being added to the finished work "The cross" is like taking perfectly pure sugar and dumping it in to a swimming pool, or even the ocean. The end result is complete dilution of the power of the original work which is the most important one ever done.

Pocky I know what you mean. there are so many different things you can do for steampunk or Lolita and people are so set in their ways they wont accept a different way. that is why the RCSteamers have made the colorful bergaid, we go around at steampunk meet ups and give out a badge if you have an original look or brightly colored. (Please excuse any spelling mistakes)

Kings: I know I try :) I live in a place where people are not very open minded at all, and since I don't like any of these people that much, I try not to be like them... (I mean I was told they'd burn me as a witch, because I told them I followed the Wiccan religion...)

He did that to prevent the corruption of the Jewish people. Which sadly eventually happened anyway. He wanted a pure people but all those outside forces were and are constantly at war with each other still today. But God knew that if those people wouldn't have been take care of they would have wiped out his people at the time. He's not egomanic, he was just trying to have a people who wanted to love him and put him first because he knows what is really best for them. He's not bipolar he was just faced with the fact this world he created perfect in the beginning was and is now overriden with sin and suffering. Which he never intended to happen in the first place. Never did he intend for suffering to happen here for death to happen for any of the evils that plague us to day to happen. And believe me if he was evil or hated humanity. Do you honestly think any of us would still be in existence?

I always think it's best to not talk politics or religion.
People believe what they believe, and you cannot really change their minds.
Somebody always ends up getting upset. We should be tolerant of other's beliefs.

oh no granny we were having a nice talk.... each side said that the other was very respectful. it was one of the frist talks I have seen that was not thumping each other the head.
