Blaze- It's 1 here too. xD I try to do lunch by noon...today just slipped away from me. But I was right, it's been a much better day so far than yesterday was! Yesterday I didn't want to do anything because of my headache...so I gave in and ordered pizza. >.< I hate ordering pizza, but it's so convenient... I'll do it on days that I feel dead. xD

I know what you mean about pizza. I try not to do it here very often, but there are some days where it just makes sense (& saves some sanity) to do it!

mmm tofu. A friend of mine made us some fried rice with tofu once. It was amazing, and ever since then when I have tofu it's just not as good. </3

I make Chris go out to the Korean restaurant near us for their soft tofu soup at least every other week

The baby in my belly has a thing for salads and fresh fruit. If I don't have a salad a day I feel completely sick by the end of the day.

Though the fresh fruit could just be me. I've always had a thing for cold fruit. om nom nom! I'm glad the baby didn't take that away from me! xD

it has a bit of a strange texture, but it doesn't have a strong flavor so it's actually pretty good. If you're nervous about it, I would suggest trying it fried, since then it has a bit of a buttery...fried flavor? xD Try it in something then try it alone. It's really quite good, and quite good for you!

LOL. Tofu takes some getting used to. Unfortunately, it's also an anti-thyroid agent and it's not nearly as healthy for you as the marketing would like you to believe it is. But it IS a good substitute for chicken if you're vegetarian (and assuming it's organic tofu, which isn't as bad and isn't supposed to be GMO like most of the rest of the soy products generally available).

N.C., Mel? Is this a recent thing... or have I been thinking of you being in California just because you talk about it so much? Whereabouts in NC are you (if you don't mind telling me)? It's a pretty state. I'd actually like to move into that area... Florida is ... well, it's not the same as the Northeast and the novelty has worn off...>.>

Nope, not recent. We moved here about 3 years ago. I'm still trying to get used to it. It is a pretty state, there is a lot to do, and we're right up in North Eastern North Carolina by the Virginia border. So we have the founding cities in relatively close proximity so there's stuff to do... I just miss my CA beaches and friends. xD I haven't actually made any non-online friends here. >.> partly because I have no desire to go out but mostly because people here don't get my wit. lol.

[edit] booo sprocket won the last mission as well. My mule got 10 credits, my main got 5. Gasket was waaaay behind sprocket though. at least a couple hundred clicks. </3

Mellie, I was under the impression you were in CA, or at least the West coast as well...so funny.

I've been in Florida for several years now but have few friends... they're still all up in the Northeast... and it's just....weird down here, somehow (still trying to figure that out). We'll actually be in Greenesboro the middle of next month, actually... I'm looking forward to seeing some trees and geography that is more familiar to me than sand and palm trees!!

I think Sprocket has either more members or more active members. It's like this almost every event though, the active people all seem to gravitate towards one team, No idea why, they just do. xD

I miss sand and palm trees! What's with all these random trees? And lack of mountains. I miss the mountains. To get to mountains here you have to drive west for like 4 hours!!

LOL. Try Florida... LOTS of sand and VERY flat. Boring, dull, yucky flat... not a hill in sight! (but the beaches ARE beautiful! :heart: )

Blaze- Florida is one of the places hubby might get stationed next. We'll see. But if there aren't any mountains I might miss Cali just as much. xD We're putting down two places in Cali, San Fran and San Diego, Hawaii, Florida and staying here. (We already bought a house, might as well! xD) We'll see how it goes.

I'm "lucky" too then Roo... seems I can't get ahead on Mene - games, events, or anything else (posting? quests?). Good thing I don't take it personally! LOL

I used to do really really well here on mene. I just can't get into the posting and chatting anymore. It bums me out sometimes but I just don't want to be social which is kind of a bad thing for me.
