i didn't mind the first book in the twilight saga, but the second was so dam boring! every second word was Edward *rolls eyes*

the movie was done quiet well, i was looking forward to seeing how they would to the werewolf's in it (mad wolf fan) but apart from that i'm not a mad fan of twilight, i'll watch the movies just so i can say i've watched them.

:edit, the graphic novel is awesome tho ^^ (i love comics, manga and all things anime :P)

Yeah, me too.

My favorite book ever is Sabriel by Garth Nix, he's a wonderful author, if anyone's interested in a new read.

Angel: It's funny you say that, because I HATED the first book. It got okay in the last fifty pages or so, but I thought it was so boring. But I quite liked the second and third books.

I just found the graphic novel earlier today at a bookstore.
I think it's better than the movie, haha.

wind :: what's really sad is that twilight guy will have his career pretty much ending once that 4th movie is gone and imo he is really a decent actor. he put out a movie like a month or 2 ago called "Remember Me" that had shitty ratings cuz nobody wanted to see him as anything but the twilight guy....

I think he's an awful actor.

He obviously hasn't read the books, becuase he portrayed Edward as an over-reacting teenager, instead of the mature Edward in the books.

I had enjoyed the story of the books, too, but this obsession people have with it has just made it relaly unappealing to me now. Its so irritating. I can't stand when people obsess over stuff. I find it so rediculous and annoying, not to mention pretty creepy. And I think that Robert Pattinson was a terrible choice for Edward.

I myself have always been more of a Jacob fan, though. Didn't even like Edward much in the books.

I generally prefer the mangas of things, to the animes, but.

I'm picky about animes. They tend to annoy me with shitty voice acting and translations.
The mangas tend to be more accurate.

Definitely a Jacob fan. I don't like Edward.

as for the rest of the books, i havn't read them yet, i had them bought for me as a prezzie but after the second one i was like should i? so can someone tell me if it gets more interesting or if i should let them gather more dust :P

Honestly, looking back on it.

Edward was a creepy stalker with control issues and he's a completely unhealthy person for a young girl to idolize and "want to be with".

That said, I also have issues with how plain-jane Bella is. She's so wishy washy.

I prefer my women powerful, which if you've ever read Sabriel, well, you'll see why it's my favorite book. <3

@Riot, lolz i do agree, which is why i usually watch the Japanese version's they tend to have better voice actors then the English ones do :P (anime that is)

honestly i think Edward and i think pedophile and cradle snatcher :P

I think that he did a good job in Harry Potter, but everything went downhill from that. Seriously.

And I think that the girl that played Bella didn't give her enough emotion. The character is supposed to be kind of dreary, yeah, but she still has emotion.
