Hello all. The name's Amaru, and I'm pleased to make your acquaintance. I wandered over here through the suggestion of a friend; generally I occupy more time on my deviantart, but this place looked rather entertaining, so, here I am.

As for who I am, well... I like drawing, and I'm something of a linguaphile, I suppose (currently learning Latin and ancient Greek in school, Japanese and Korean on my own time). As follows with being a lover of language, I adore writing, and do plenty of that, too.

That's really all, I suppose. ;w; Let's get along.

I wish my school had good languages to learn (-cough- germanandfrench -cough-) but right now there's only Spanish. Next year there will be Japanese, Spanish and Chinese.
Hopefully, next year, I will be taking Japanese, so I can talk to my friend's mom. Korean would be nice to learn too.
I don't like writing though.
But reading is amazing.

My school has French, Spanish, and Latin (Greek was a one-off thing for this year). But hopefully in college I can study Japanese and Korean under a real classroom setting. Also, your friend's mom, is she a native Japanese speaker?

Yes. My friend and her sister also lived in Japan until they were five.
My other friend's mom is a native Korean speaker. My other friend's lived in Korea, Italy, and Germany.

I've been fine. Half day for school. No homework. After my dad finishes work, we're gonna go to the library.

Ahh, that's cool. I was born in Japan, but we moved back when I was still an infant, so I don't remember it at all.
It's cool that your friends have seen so much of the world, though.

I got out of school early too! Good times. I might've gone to the library, but it's insanely hot outside, so methinks I'll just stay put for the time being. ^.^;

It's cloudy here. Rainy-ish. You'd think it's still January here, not the end of May. I'm glad it doesn't get that hot here. During the summer it was 105F with no air conditioning...I'm glad I was in Indiana, where there IS air conditioning.

What did you do today?

If it was rainy, I'd definitely definitely go for a walk, or a run. Good way to exercise and cool down~ Where I live, the temperature ranges from below freezing in the winter to above 100 in the summer... and my house has no AC... good times.

I watched Myth Busters in pre-calculus class, got out of a test because of a doctor's appointment, and doodled pictures. So, overall, good day. And you?

I can't though. Whenever I run, my headphones bounce out of my ears. I got a new phone for running a 6minute 42second mile.

Uhm...Since my science teacher didn't teach us anything about bogs, but gave us a worksheet, I ended up copying her answers while we trade-and-grade'd. Walked in P.E. Got my work done in Language arts in history and did nothing but read in Advisory.

Six minute and forty-two second mile?! Y-You're so speedy... I'm jealous. ;n;

Gotta love it when teachers let you trade-and-grade, and that's when you write in the answers... That's how I did most of my PE worksheets, to tell the truth. I suppose I just don't really feel like gym needs written work. xP

I almost died doing it. I was so dead I let 2 girls pass me in the last 100 meters. But one of the 1/2 miles I passed a gil at the last second. I mean, the very last second, like the last 10 meters. One guy can do a mile in about 5 minutes 30 second mile. Without looking like he's even trying!

We don't have many worksheets in P.E. Only science and math. In LA we just do To Kill A Mockingbird packets.
I really do not liek my science teacher.
