Awesome-sauce. I think we'd get along just fine. How do you feel about Fantasy/High Fantasy or a Hellsing fandom? I've got a profile in mind for Fantasy and I can come up with one for Hellsing if we're doing OCs, and I can play Alucard, Herr Major, or Alexander for Canon.

I still haven't seen Hellsing but it's on my list. xD However, fantasy/high fantasy sounds great by me; any particular plot in mind?

I've always kind of wanted to do a Fantasy involving trying to break the grasp of dictatorship. For High Fantasy, probably two high school kids who discover the secondary world and think they can use it to escape their troubles at home, but find much more there. (demons, wars, etc.)

Hmm... Both sound fun, though I must say I'm rather partial to the latter, especially since you could probably get some combination of the two if you did that one.

True enough. If you'd like to do a combination, I can play two characters, but to be honest I'm partial to males. I can play female if I'm persuaded though if you like opposite gender pairings.

I don't have any preference towards same or opposite gender pairings, so would it be fine if we both played male characters? Or, if you wanted to have two characters each, I think I'd play a male and a female character.

That could work. Two characters each, one from the primary world and one from the secondary world, one male and one female. Although I have no trouble doing a m/m pairing.

Sounds good to me. I think a m/m pairing would probably fit this plot pretty well, actually. Do you want to post character profiles in the actual thread, or work them out ahead of time?

I was wondering if you might be interested in a scifi roleplay, I have something of an idea if so.

I prefer setting aside an OOC thread for character profiles, to keep the IC all neat and whatnot. Would you like to, or shall I?

It still needs a little work, here is what I have set up so far....

People have begun to colonize planets and space colonies with the solar system. In an attempt to keep things unified, one government was chosen to see over the system's people. The new government is weak, and crime is rampant. This new era is unstable, and dangerous. Criminals walk the streets, and vigilante justice is widespread. The government seems to be reaching a breaking point, and the rule of anarchy is close at hand.

Sounds potentially awesome. Think there'd be any room in the plot for sentient robots, or would that be pushing it?

Like I said, still working on it for the most part, and sentient robots fit into scifi.

Sometime during the middle of the government fall. Maybe in a large city on Earth, or a colony on Mars.

I like the sound of a colony on Mars, because that way, we could work with the different environment of another planet.
