Yeah, the big thing for me was the smell. I know Prismas can apparently get the same kind of look, but I cannot stand the smell.

Kat: Yeah, it can be hard with just four colours, unless they're in the same colour family. If I remember right, you can layer them with coloured pencils, though?

they must not sell smelly prismas here...

um, I have light blue, dark red, beige, and a light skin tone. I don't know if they layer on anything really. I haven't tried.

I'm going to give up, my internet connection is bad. I think I'm going to dig through my art supplies to see if I can find anything I feel like playing with right now.

At some point in the future...I'll try to do RL commissions...and earn my way to getting a larger set of Copics. *_* Someday...*laughs*

@Sarasvati: Ahh, I see. You mean like the permanent ones? Like Marks-a-lot? Those can make a person light-headed if the room doesn't have a breeze going through it... :sweat: Sharpies aren't anywhere near as bad.

Dimitri: Yes, they're permanent, and they can give you headaches after awhile if you don't take breaks (Copics aren't quite as bad for me, personally). They're more for artwork, though, not just marking stuff like one uses Sharpies for. :>

Dimitri: Cool! I never learned much about cars, but I always liked hanging around auto shops. My grandfather and uncles worked at them *one still does*, so it's kinda nostalgic, I guess? XD We visited them a lot when I was little.
