Right now I'm staring at an old round robin story, wondering how I can rewrite it into my own story using the same idea but none of my partner's work so it doesn't feel like I'm stealing her characters or work....

I'm currently using my characters and some of the ideas I had from a round robin story I participated in in the 7th grade...in two different RPs. I was too lazy to make up new characters in both of them, so I just plucked them from the old one and revamped them up to something cooler. 8D

Oh I do that too. xD I just use the same name and personality but I change the history and stuff to fit the Round Robin.

I think I can get away with it. There's really only two of her characters that tie really deep into the storyline and we mostly used my characters for it, so all I have to do is replace those two characters with my own, the rest of her characters I'll either be removing from the storyline or will no longer need them.

The dialogue worries me... but they're kinda generic and how I would have written it anyways... >> I mean there's only so many ways you can write " I have your friend hostage. I'll exchange her for you, my pretty" right?

My best friend and I use the same characters in different stories just to see how they'd react in them. Humors me so much...but then again, I'm starting to forget the original storyline. 8D Oh well! *enjoys having fun* <3

Yes! xD I think this shall be my pet project for the summer. I might actually have a completely original story written! Granted it's based off an Round Robin, but I loved this idea so much I can't help it.

Ooo that's fun too. xD And the reason why some of my characters have like multiple histories. xDD I have one character with three different backgrounds.
