"A great life?"She scoffed."I will never have a great life..because everyone that looks at me will know i'm a slave."

She looks at her and and smiled and said "don't worry I am not like that you can live with me there is a room for you next to mind OK." She said to her and smiled at her.

Hotaru watched as Amelia came back into the room, he had to lift his head up when she placed her weapon under his jaw, forcing his head up, he gave a low growl after she pulled away from the kiss she gave him, he personally didn’t want to stop but sadly he was chained up and could do nothing about it, even if he wanted to. His fox ears barely twitched towards her voice as she spoke to him, it was soothing, he head to think for a few minutes before he thought he was saying ‘I could be worse,’ instead it came out different. “I…hmual kiss…hfncsdf.” there was only two words that could be understood out of his whole sentence, he didn’t even know that he was saying things like that, because in his mind he heard what he meant to say.

Elle just nodded her head silently at the guard's words, and retreated back to her bed. "Good night," she braved herself to say as the door closed, but the guard didn't answer (although really, why should I expect him to? she scolded herself) and the door closed with a heavy thud. The sound of a key rasped in the lock and with a final click she was locked in for the night.

Only then did Elle let her emotionless mask fall. She took a deep breath to steady herself, trying not to cry as memories of her past life attempted to forcefully reassert themselves in her conscious mind. She lay down on the bed and grabbed her pillow to hold tight, and she felt herself grow a little bit calmer so that at least she wasn't close to hyperventilating. She was still afraid of this place and the mistress, who seemed to have no problem inflicting massive pain on her slaves although Elle herself had been treated decently so far. Shakily, Elle sat back up again, drying the few tears that had managed to leak out, and took another look around the room. It was bare yes, spartan even, but it was better than a cramped cage. And the bed was comfortable enough, although almost anything is comfortable after sleeping on the floor. With a sigh, Elle stood up and began taking off her maid's uniform, not wishing to wrinkle it while she slept. She was glad that this uniform actually seemed like something a maid would wear and wasn't just the skanky costume that her first master preferred. After folding up the uniform, Elle suddenly realized how tired she was. Sitting in your cage terrified while listening to the screams of tortured slaves really takes a toll on you, she thought bitterly. With a yawn, she turned off the light and then collapsed on her bed in her underwear to drift off into an exhausted sleep.

((It's my bad, I try to do it in the description when I write out the RP, but I suppose everyone interprets things differently in their mind))

Though Hotaru's words were jumbled, Amelia could understand him through the link in magic to his mind. He forgot to add 'Mistress' to the title, however, Amelia would remind him of such an infraction.

"Now, now my lovely Hotaru, don't forget to refer to me as Mistress. I'd hate to have to punish you for forgetting something so small."

After Roarke had shut Elle in for the night, he stood quietly beside the door using his shadow abilities that came with being a demon. His form seemingly melted into the shadows and he intently waited for sound but in the end, only the soft breathing of sleep was all he heard. Treading lightly, he went downstairs to finish paper-work...

...Arising early the next morning, Roarke came to Elle's and Liam's rooms to allow both to come out and help with the workings of the house.

Hotaru looked at her, blinking a few times, the only thing that really regestured in his head was love and his name, he gave a satisfied sigh as he looked at her. 'Love = Mate' was the only thing that he could think of, he looked at her and blinked his eyes a few times as his ears flicked towards her then the door. "Hmfkujnvsi?" was all he got out, he meant to say 'What mistress?' as in he didn't see one, but then again he was thinking on a completely different line of thoughts at the moment, he leaned forward just enough to kiss her again since she wasn't that far away from him. He gave a sigh of relief, not even breaking the kiss but instead he tried to deepen it and drown him self in the female in front of him.

Amelia reached up and unshackled Hotaru's wrists to allow him to stand before her, or if his legs couldn't manage it, fall down to the ground. She would then hit him in the side with her Agiel for his subordinance, being sure to catch the side that did not have the already broken ribs, her intent was to give him enough of a shock of pain to give him incentive to bring his thinking mind back to the present.

"Now Hotaru, I need you to snap out of it. You want the pain to stop don't you? Why do you make me have to hurt you?" Amelia's brow wrinkled in worry as she brushed the back of her hand along his cheek.

Hotaru fell to his knees once he was releashed from the shackles, he took the beating that she was giving him, he could even muster enough strength to call out in pain. He looked up at her once she was done, of course there was pain in his eyes as he looked up at her, his arms were clutching his stomach as his hands clutched his sides. "Pain....what is pain?" he asked her, this time he managed to actually say what he meant this time, when the back of her hand brushed his cheek, he couldn't help but to lean into her touch. His mind just had one word floating around it, 'Mate.' it float around his head as if it was empty, it was the only word he could think of while being around the woman, she just kept saying his name, even saying the word love, you could say he is knee deep in his fox demon insticnts that there wasn't really anything else he could go by.

Amelia squatted down by Hotaru, her hand still gripping her Agiel tightly.

Slowly and methodolically she trailed the Agiel down his arm, "Pain is what you're feeling right now, Hotaru." then she released the Agiel.

She felt as if she were almost talking to a child. When one was reduced to this state, Amelia always found it hard to continue inflicting pain. A quick flashback rolled by in her minds eye as she remembered her own childhood; she vaguely remembered those first days as a small child at the hands of her own master.

Once again Amelia recognized Hotaru's use of the word 'mate' and she knew he was reverting back to his most basic of instincts for which she would use to her advantage.

Teagan sat down in the smallish cage that she had been placed in. All she could do was think of what her life was like before she was captured. She didn't remember much, for you see her family was killed not long ago, her mother was a slave and her father was her master. They had made love and went into hiding. That is what her mother had told her when she was younger. Teagan looked up and wished she could be somewhere else.

Hotaru whimpered in pain as her weapon trailed down his arm, then it was gone, he gave a low growl as he lunged forward and pinned her to the floor. He was almost a feral fox demon once more, there was rarely any words that come to mind that he would use at that moment. "Mate." that one word that had been bouncing around in his head, had slipped out his mouth, he was basically laying on top of her at the moment, the strength that he had was comming from his basic insticnts. He bent down and kissed her on the lips again, he didn't break away but instead he put more force behind it as he held her there. It might have been messed up in away because she was his Mistress but then again there was no rule in his mind that told him who he could mate with or choose as his own.

Alexa shifted back into her demon form after she woke up. Stretching some she looked around. She that Hotaru was no longer on the floor, but in the punishment room with Amelia. Then she noticed that there was a women talking to Katie. The women was apparently looking to buy some new slaves. As she yawned she turned her attention over to the cage where the male snow leopard had been in. It was still empty. Apparently Amelia had decided to keep him. Her gaze wandered a bit before she closed her eyes. It was going to be another long day.

Katie sighed, waiting for the woman to take her away. She closed her eyes..exhaling loudly to calm her nerves more."I'm ready to go.."She said..wondering if it would be better to go or stay. The sad thing was..she wanted to stay. She looked at the woman with a small frown, waiting for her.

Teagan wanted out of her cage, this was the first time in her life that she had ever had to do this. She wished she could be with her father and half sister. She missed them very dearly. The night she was taken was a dark night. She was walking in the woods like she did every night when a man came and grabbed her. He could tell that she was part vampire because of the way her skin slightly glowed in the night. "Don't try to fight me or I will kill you." he told her as he put a knife to her throat"You may be part vampire but I'm a lot stronger." he said as he pulled her threw the woods and into the city. This is where he sold her into slavery and he got a pretty penny for her as well. Now Teagan was stuck in this cage with nothing and no one. She longed to be home with what little family she had left. If they were still alive.

Amelia silently cursed at herself for allowing Hotaru to get the upper-hand on her. After all, he was in the most primitive and wild state making him extremely unpredictable. Her hand was tightly wrapped around her Agiel and with a grunt of effort against Hotaru's weight, she turned her Agiel just enough so it could tap Hotaru's forearm which would allow her to become free and then, she would have to chain him up again so she could continue into the fox demon. She knew that there was a sane, analytical mind in there and in the end, even in the most primitive of state, one would avoid pain above all else and seek pleasure.

She looks at the girl and took her hand and smiles at her as well and said "My name is serenity and your name is Katie is right you will leave with me and help me with stuff not a lot you will have free time as well." She said to her and smiled while they walked out of the place and heads for the temple where she lives.

Katie slowly took her hand away from the girls.."Do you have any other slaves?"She asked..knowing it would be horrible to be alone with the master. She spoke softly as if she was to shy to say anything to the woman even though she was usually very stubborn.

Teagan stood up and stretched a bit. She just wanted to go home. Sadly she knew that it wasn't going to happen she stood and watched as the two ladies talked, the one girl was a slave like her. She wondered where they would be going. Would she ever be able to leave this place.

Hotaru yelped in pain when he felt it shot through his forearm, he grabbed it with the opposite hand, moving away from her, he seemed to curl up against the wall that he soon found behind him. He looked at her with hurt filled eyes, in his mind it was telling him that she was rejecting him even after she chose him, he was confused in this matter after all he was a fox demon and there was different things that said things to them. The next thing he knew, she was chaining him up again, he didn’t understand this either, his ears were pinned back to his head, making it so that he couldn’t hear anything that she was saying to him.

She looks at her and smiles "well no you are the only one but I will get more and I will I promise you that Katie and don't worry you be hurt I am not like that all dear Katie." She said to her.

They got to the temple and went to her home and shown her to her room it was next to her and said "Dear Katie my room is next to yours if you need anything you can call me alright." She said to her and smiled and gave her a light blue rose to keep as well.

Amelia could feel a tightness in her heart that was unfamiliar to her and was something she was only able to achieve when linked through magic, that and vague memories of the feeling when she was a small child. She could understand that Hotaru was both confused and hurt. She stood there for a moment, looking down at Hotaru and then laid her back against the wall as well and slid down. She was sure to grip the Agiel once she was down upon the ground to remind herself of who she was.

She hadn't wanted to hurt Hotaru, but she couldn't allow a slave to get away with such antics regardless the state he or she was in. The last time a slave gave her this much trouble was Ritsuka, though he was difficult in a much more different way. Amelia continued to sit there in silence for what seemed like an eternity with Hotaru next to her while she silently kept a tab on his thoughts.

"Hotaru, you should no better than to attack like that. You're forcing me to hurt you." She finally spoke.

Hotaru’s ears flicked towards her when he heard her speaking again, she was then sitting down next to him, which made him turn his head towards her so he could understand things better. “I…I didn’t attack.” he said to her, and he was right, well in his mind he was, he didn’t see it as an attack but as him replying to her choosing him, of him saying that he is hers just like she is his.

It was a mate thing in his mind, if she did not understand that….his ears lay flat on his head again as he let his head drop to his chest, it was like he was depressed when it registered in his head that she didn’t really want him and that she was just toying with him. He whimpered some, he didn’t bother to look at her, his basic instincts were telling him that she was his but then his mind was telling him she was just toying with him which caused him to get even more depressed.

Standing up, Amelia wouldn't even bother to look at Hotaru. "I told you... Refer to me as Mistress." Anger surged through her for him forgetting even the smallest of commandments. Though any more beatings today would be pointless because Hotaru was just not responding to them. He was far to gone.

Just as she got to the door she looked back to Hotaru. "Don't you dare move from that spot, or you'll regret it." Her voice was menacing and by her tone, Hotaru would know she meant what she said. Using Hotaru's own magic, she made it so that if Hotaru even attempted to move from his sitting down position, he would feel unbearable pain, just like with the cage.

As she shut the door behind her, she let out a deep breath for she knew that breaking this fox demon could take a long time. Anger still was coarsing through her veins, so instantly she stormed upstairs to find Ritsuka. He was always coy with her, always showing that he was not yet broken in the most subtle of ways. He deserved punishment.

Ritsuka was busy cleaning up Amelia's room along with making sure her clothing was clean and firmly pressed as well as her extra red-leather suit. By the way the door slammed, he knew Amelia was in a foul mood. Turning around, he could see the anger surround her and sadness crept into his eyes.

"Please Mistress... Let me do it for you." Ritsuka stood tall and was a commanding presence, but his voice was one of pleading, almost begging.

"No, I want the pain." Was all Amelia spoke before grabbing Ritsuka by the hair and dragging him towards her own little private room that was like the punishment room, but adjacent to her own quarters. The Agiel planted firmly between Ritsuka's shoulder blades. His face contorted in pain, though he, unlike others, had gotten so used to the pain over the years that he could keep himself from screaming out in pain.

"You know you deserve this." Amelia spoke coldy.

"I know I do, Mistress, but you do not." Ritsuka managed to get out through clenched teeth as he held back the agonizing pain.

"But I do Ritsuka... I deserve every moment of it..."
