I honestly haven't decided anything about her - not even her name.

I know. XD this is kinda frustrating to me. i suppose we can assume she is more powerful than him in presence and/or potence. i think both. we can leave it at that for now.

Oh, look! Sunglasses has returned!

Yay for Doctor Who. I still really didn't like that one episode, though.

Why not specifically? I liked the primary plot, i just didn't like that the resolution revolved around Amy making a choice between two men. The plot, I thought, was quite clever though.

It's because of the choice that I don't like the episode. It boiled down to the "age old" question of what a woman really wants: a life full of adventure on her own without a serious relationship or a dull life full of children and being the housewife. There was no in-between or other choice for Amy.

It's also in the way that they depicted the two lives; it was automatically assumed that Amy didn't want the life with Rory because it was boring.

Why couldn't life with Rory be as exciting as with the Doctor? Why did Amy even have to choose between the two - couldn't they have worked out their relationship as a vee with Amy as the point?

At the very least, it's not like the doctor ever had any qualms abotu having multiple companions. They could still get married and keep traveling with the doctor--up until the point Amy gets pregnant. I don't think life with Rory would have been as adventurous, but that doesn't mean it would have been boring.

I don't like that it's the "either or" choice. It says that monogamy is the only way and that doesn't work for me.

Clearly, it doens't work for either of us.

I dyed it a reddish brown.
But it's itchy.

I'm very disappointed in the writers for Doctor Who. :(
