I copypasta'd the skeleton for the character information from that game and hit a snag while filling it out. Sent a PM to the Storyteller about it - I'm going to save the file to work on later.

I'm interested in the story but I'm not seeing a plot other than werewolves and vampires co-mingling and the threat of a fight breaking out. I'm also having a hard time thinking of a reason why William would be there. Would you be interested in the idea of William tagging along with Abbadon?

I don't think this is going to be a serious game so I don't mind breaking character to have a little fun with these two. Also.. *snickers* I'm imagining 'shipping Abbadon and William.

I figured you would say that. Does WIlliam have a crush on Abbadon? is that why he puts such painstaking effort into the favors he does for him? I'm all for breaking character a little to have fun with this, too, but I can't make any guarantees about Abbadon's temper. he's normally pretty calm and collected, but around Garou? And tons of other kindred of all clans, shapes, and sizes? I can see him twisting someone's head off. I wonder about the policy on disciplines...

Also, is it appropriate for Abbadon to subtly poke fun at William's looks? Such as calling him "handsome" and the like to get on his good side?

Mm, hm.

You know the relationship between D and the detective whose name I can't remember right now? It could be similar to that; Abbadon brings "candies" to William who gives him some leeway on interactions.

Don't mistake pleasure and business, however. William would be stern and to the point about business - Abbadon does/gets "this" and in return William acquires "that" for Abbadon - but if Abbadon brings something extra for William then he's more likely to include something like the leather-bound journal.

Ditto and ditto. It's been so long since it's been this easy for me to write. Is it just the topics and the stories we pick? They so often seem so forced to me. Maybe this is just something I have a real passion for.

I have never really roleplayed. Well... I have tried, a couple of times, but it just never really comes. And I don't have characters or anything like that.

Honestly? We're out of practice. It's always going to seem forced at first, especially when you're as out of practice as we are, but with time it'll get easier.

Yeah, I know. I guess some things just are naturally easier for me and others take practice.

That's too bad about you and roleplaying, Playground. For some people it can be a lot of fun. In any case, it's a lot cheaper than some other games. <_<

What sort of roleplaying have you done - pen and paper, forum based, MMO? Why didn't it work out for you?
