Shadow carried a load of books into the basement, some floating above his head, and returned for more, working quickly to secure his most precious items.

Half way through his bath some of the spots were not going away. “shadowmoor?” Angelo cried out hoping that he would come and not be made at him. The spots were ones that had really hurt in the dream.

Shadow finished his trip, and then he appeared in the room, easily. "What is it?" He leaned down by the tub.

“it’s this.” An edge of fear was in his voice as he pointed to spots that looked like old chickenpox scars. But Shadow would know those had not been there when he had fallen asleep. “It was a Vision that I had of a city on fire with gray stuff falling from the sky and some of it hit me here and now…” he waved his hand at it. “What is going on?” none of the spots would show until his took off his shirt when he was not in the tub.

"Your vision...it seems like there was a volcanic eruption in it," Shadow informed him, thoughtfully. "Do these spots hurt?"

"not now but they did when I work. there were alot more of them too." he pouted and then pulled himself over to shadow and nuzzled him. "is it wrong that this is happening to me or just something else I have to deal with?" what he was experiences was a vision and fetching ability. his mind had needed him to know that it was real so had fetched the ash from some where and placed it on him.

"Ah..." Shadow paused. "This is a good thing, actually. Your mind is trying to tell you that this vision is real, and it will happen someday." Shadow perked up, suddenly. "Oh, dear." He peeked out the nearby window, at the town. "Are there any tall mountains around this place?

"It is not here, it is a place by the sea. we need not worry about it." Angelo let out the breath he had been holding. a small smile crossed his face as he sunk back into the water and relaxed. "sorry to have called you away from your work."

"Then let us stay away from coastal areas for a while," Shadow amended, sitting back down beside him. "It's all right. I didn't get much done, anyway. I should get back to it..." he trailed off.

Reaching out Angelo smiled and ran a hand down Shadows arm. “you don’t have to go if you don’t want, but if you need to I do not mind. I will have you all the rest of my life. What is the different of a few hours?”

"Do you feel up to helping me, after you've finished your bath, of course..." Shadow asked, curiously. "I could use the extra hands...I have a lot of precious belongings."

Smiling Angelo nodded. “I should be ready soon.” Ducking under the water he shock his hear out. A few flacks of ash appeared only to dissolve in the water.

"I will wait for you, then," Shadow murmured, watching him bathe quietly. He had moved almost all of his books downstairs...he would have Angelo moved the potted Lampshades.

coming up with his back to Shadow he slowly stood out of the water. as he rose water rolled off him as he used his magic to call it back to the pool.

Shadow watched him, then stood up. "Aahh...ready to go? I'd like you to go around the house and collect the potted Lampshades around the windows. Then, bring them downstairs."

Reaching out Angelo grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his body then walked over to Shadow. “I am almost ready, I don’t think it would be wise to go get the plants with the risk of going bear unless…” Angelo smiled. “My master is wanting me to.”

Shadow grinned, but shook his head. "No, no. Go on and get dressed. You can get the Lampshades once that's done..." Shadow headed on out of the bathroom to pick up the rest of his books.

Smiling Angelo gently covered the smile with his index finger. It had felt good to call him master even if he did not like him to call him that. It still was true by the laws standers. Shadow had never taken him down to the notary to have him marked off as a freed slave. But he was happy that he had not, no one could take him away from shadow. He dressed and walked out to get the plants.

Shadow gathered up the last of his books as he did so. He also grabbed the beginner's book--something that Angelo definitely needed. He carried them all down to the cellar.

by this time Angelo had gotten most of the plants together and in the cellar. looking up he smiled. "so how are we going to keep all these little guys with sunlight? there is not a bit of sun that will reach down here."

Shadow snapped his fingers. He captured some of the sunlight outside, and sunlight flooded the room. "Like that. I will have to replace it tomorrow morning--do not let me forget."

“I will try not to.” Angelo looked around slowly trying to see if they had forgotten anything. “Is there anything else that I may have missed? I would hate for us to have missed something then need it latter and not have it.”

"I am not sure. We should head up and look around..." Shadow suggested, stretching his arms out.

Taking his arm Angelo smiled and cuddled into Shadow. “Shadowmoor, why are you so worried about them attacking tonight?”

Shadow held his hand, walking with him. "I am always worried. It is better to have my guard up, then to keep it down..."
