“But does that not get to you after a while. Does it not start to make you sick?” Angelo could not see the reasoning behind worrying all the time. He promised himself that he would never let worry get to him for too long he would deal with it or just let it go.

"I've learned to deal with it over the years. I am a naturally cautious man. I don't want to end up cornered, with no place to go..." Shadow closed the hidden cellar door behind them. If villagers raided the house, they would not be able to find it.

“Well if we have found everything then do you think we can get a bit more rest? The burns still itch” Angelo slipped his hands into Shadows and smiled sweetly up at him. “That book you got me last week was good but the philosopher was a bit narrow minded in his thoughts on the human race as a whole and the Romans as a people.”

Shadow hummed, then nodded. "Sure. I am not that tired, but I will rest with you," he replied, pleasantly. "I will be able to keep watch in case something happens."

“If next time you find one I would like a Natural Philosophy book.” Walking back to shadows room Angelo smiled a cute little childish smile his toes twitching in happiness. “Will you be waiting the full week before going into town for food next? I can go hunting for some meat if we have to.”

"If we need to go anywhere, we will go together. We will not be separated," Shadow warned, seriously. "If I go into town, you come with. If you go hunting, I go with."

“Alright then, I don’t know if I will be able to hunt that well with you, but I will try.” Angelo yawned as he lay down on the bed. “What if I want to work on something without you around?” he said sleepily.

"If you want to do that, you work in the cellar. There's enough room for you to do so," Shadow suggested, laying down next to him.

“I can’t, the spell calls for me to work in the open. I will make sure that no one is around when I do it.” He mumbled as he fell asleep.

Shadow, who was not fond of that idea at all, would put a barrier around him so that he would be protected. He wouldn't be able to see what he was doing, but he'd be able to sense if he was in danger.

Angelo slept till latter the next morning. Waking he yawned and stretched. His sleep had been quite rest full after they had gone back to bed. Maybe today he would work on Shadows gift.

Shadow was already awake. He was sitting by the window, reading one of the books he'd taken from down in the cellar. "Good morning, Angelo."

“Good morning Shadowmoor.” Angelo smiled and sat up all the way then leaned back on the pillows. “what are your planes today? Can I go to the pool to bath or would that be to dangerous for me?”

"I'd rather you didn't, but you can, if you wish. But I will teleport you there, and put a barrier around the pool. And you need to alert me if there's trouble," Shadow replied, honestly.

"that I can do," Angelo looked down at his stomach which grumbled its complainant of no food. "but I think I should eat first."

"Do you want me to make us some breakfast?" Shadow asked, curiously. He was feeling quite hungry, as well...

“Well yes…. But you’re probably hungry for other things as well. You did not feed last night as you should have. But then…” Angelo smiled a sweet simple smile. “We had other things on our minds didn’t we?”

"Let's feed you first," Shadow chuckled, standing up. "Do you want to make it, or shall I? I can wait to feed--you need to eat first."

"I would rather you cook then I do today. I am not feeling that great, I think it was that dream last night." lifting up his shirt Angelo looked at the scars still there. "well it looks like those ones are not going to go away any time soon."

"I will go start on it...perhaps you should check the weather today, and see if it is like the weather in your vision." Shadow started off towards the kitchen. ~Meat or not meat with breakfast?~

~meat please.~ getting up Angelo grabbed at some of his clothes that were still up here and not in his room before looking out the window. There were a few clouds in the sky and it looked like there might be a storm coming in the afternoon. ~nope looks like we have a good day today. No one’s going to be charging up the path to get us.~

Shadow worked on preparing a simple breakfast for both of them, incorporating meat and fresh veggies into the dish.

slowly getting dressed Angelo watched the wind in the trees on the other side of the hill. he smiled as he watched it seem to dance and twist in the sun. today he wanted to some study of the winds over the pool, he thought that maybe he could get better at the winds if he watched them. sighing he walked down stairs as he could smell breakfast was ready.

Shadow had a plate set out for him already and was starting on his own plate. He looked calm, content--not like he'd just totally put the house on lockdown for a while.

"so still thinking that you need to send me to the pool by teleport or am I going to get to walk?" Angelo said as he happily started eating at what Shadow had made him for breakfast. "mmm this is good today."
