Shadow, who was also tired, extended an arm up into the air. The black bag was summoned to his hand, in less than ten seconds. He set it next to him. He was tired, so he would look at it in the morning. Quietly, he snuggled up with Angelo and closed his eyes.

the morning sun shone brightly on shadow, Angelo in the night without thinking about it had pulled the blanket up around him so that no sun would touch him. now he lay cuddled up to Shadows side. the smell of bacon and other meats cooking near by filled the air. there was a small covered bucket of water near the black bag.

Shadow, who had remembered to take his Lampshade powder along the way, stirred uncomfortably when the sun rose anyway, blinking himself awake. "Mm..." He stretched his arms out.

Latter in the day as they were driving along angelo sighed. ~I don’t feel any pain any more. Do you think that I could get up now?”

Shadow smiled and reached one of his hands out. "Let me help you up." He had opened the black bag earlier, with Angelo, and was still in a good mood from having discovered the gift he'd made him. He had, of course, slipped it on immediately.

Taking Shadows hand angelo smiled. “thanks.” Looking down at the ring Angelo smiled. “do you think it is working?” he kept the blanket over him so that the sun did not hurt him. He planned on taking some of the Lampshade as soon as he could.

"I believe so." Shadow extended his arm out into the sun once Angelo was up. He didn't burn--he didn't even cringe away. "You should try making one of these for yourself, dear."

“I will not be able to make one till we have the supplies and I have the time and space where no one will bother me.” Angelo looked around the road they were traveling on. “I don’t know when that will be true again. I cant do any magic at the camp sites as I have not been approved by a Grandmother to do it.”

Shadow muttered something about himself being old and ornery enough to be an old woman. "We will see what we can do. Perhaps if you inform them that it is so you can live peacefully? And have someone supervise you?"

Angelo smiled. “I don’t think that they would accept your word yet on that I am trained to work magic safely. It wont take to long to get a Grandmothers approval but I dont feel like I could work this spell with one of them looking over my shoulder.”

"Mm, true. We will just have to wait and see." Shadow absently stroked Angelo's fingers, closing his eyes. He was indeed quite thirsty, but he was going to hold it off as long as possible. He had a problem biting most people. Especially strangers...unless they slept with him.

Watching Shadows face Angelo smiled. “You’re hungry again; I can tell by your face, you’re really easy to read when you’re hungry.” Reaching up Angelo gently brushed Shadows cheek. “Why will you not feed on others?”

"Usually, unless it is a special circumstance and there is no other way around it, I only feed off of people I sleep with," Shadow admitted, quietly.

"but love you had never slept with me when you first fed off me." wrapping his arms around Shadow he smiled. "so how are we going to work this. Should I find some one to feed off of and then you feed off me?"

Shadow returned the favor by wrapping his arms around Angelo. "You offered. And you were adamant about not letting me out. That was different. Plus, it cooled you down a bit." He paused. "I cannot survive off of just you. We will both have to find other sources. But, we can still both feed off of each other. Not as often, mind you..."

“so what are you going to do now? Are you going to find some one to eat or just going to eat off me now?” smiling Angelo kissed Shadow. “I don’t know if I can accepted you sleeping with some one else.”

"I'm going to wait a while." Shadow paused. "...Then find someone you can feed off of and sleep with, as well. To even it out. I am afraid that if I end up biting someone else, and continue feeding off of that person for a while...something is going to end up happening sooner or later. That will probably hold true for you as well."

“what if I don’t find anyone to sleep with and don’t stick with one human to feed off of?” Angelo smiled and nuzzled into Shadows chest.

Shadow arched an eyebrow. "I do not think that will work so well. Do you remember how you felt when I first bit you, Angelo? Do you think it will be so easy for you to just flit from one person to another and not have any lovers?"

“But I will have you as a lover.” He sounded a bit hurt that Shadow would think that Angelo would take lovers and leave him behind.

"I am not talking about how you will feel this time," Shadow murmured. "I talking about how the bitten will feel. Do you really think all of them will settle for just feeding?"

“From what I have heard of the family’s it is done all the time. They allow the feeding and then go to their own wagon to sleep with their own lovers.” Sighing Angelo around the clearing they had stopped info a reast. “we need to be going soon, hopefully we can find the Black Roses tonight.”

"Hopefully." Shadow could tell that finding others to feed off of was going to be a problem if Angelo was going to get jealous. Shadow rarely bit others without having a strong sexual attraction to them, and, 99% of the time, ending up sleeping with them.

“Maybe if you have to all three of us could….” Angelo blushed heavily. “I just can’t see myself sleeping with someone else, without you there.”

Shadow leaned over and kissed him, gently, on the cheek. "You should try it first. You know as well as I do that most people, especially if you bite them more than once, are going to want more than just the bite."
