they had a special on the aids epidemic on 20/20, it was pretty sad because a lot that were infected had no idea they actually had aids. it even broke up a marriage when they went into the clinic, the husband had no idea his wife was a born carrier.

It's not a given that you will die, it's only lethal if you get HIV from the Aids. People think that it's the same thing, but you get HIV from AIDs... and the HIV virus makes you extremely susceptible to sickness, and if you get a cold you could die.

Yes, that's true, I think I got my terms wrong come to think of it.
A person not yet showing signs of illness is HIV positive and someone suffering the effects of the virus has AIDS right?.

most likely, it would pass to her kids. it would pass to anyone she slept with i would assume too.

yeah, the tv shows and newscasts tend to make it look like Africa is hoarding all the aids, but it's pretty bad in a lot of other countries too.

Africa is probably the most severe because it's so large, but donno.

The only thing I trust it with is the weather during severe storms lol

I think it's also larger there is because they thought they would be cured if they had sex with a virgin but that might have been a while ago

In proportion with other counties its a very high possibility, but one can never be sure.

Actually in Africa, their government was promoting religion in hopes it would stop people from having unprotected sex, but they still have village raids and prostitution everywhere, so it doesn't really work....
