ah yeah, I remember now. That album is all good.

it really really is. and just like. I'm constantly so proud of them for this album.
It's almost fully self-written and composed. And often self-produced.
They're the first subunit out of the gates with VIXX. With no guarantee that it will actually do good.
And not only does it do well. It becomes a best seller across the boards. Including being number 3 in the top albums of August. Topped only by two SM groups (SHINee and Girls' Generation)
And they won on a music show.

It's incredible.

they are. i saw them on a list of most popular kpop groups the other day.
which really when you think about it is also amazing.
considering that jellyfish literally has four artist.
VIXX, Seo In Guk, Park Hyoshin, and Sung Si-kyung.
And that is literally it.
By all means of logic, VIXX should never have done as well as they did

I don't think that's really that logical to say. So many other artists and other companies are doing super well. Infinite also tops charts and their only labelmates are Nell and Tasty. Good music and good personalities win out.

while i agree with personality wins out. There was no guarantee that VIXX would be that form the start. and it was still a big gamble for jelpi.

I don't know but I don't think it has to do with SM.

Vixx is on top because they deserve it.

they just seem to associate more with SM more than other companies. maybe that's how i got that impression. but i do think there's something
