I know, but I don't think I saw that one. Tokyo Mew Mew didn't have a sidekick, but they had ears themselves. I'm surprised the cat ear trope didn't show up.

lol. i think magical girl animes for me are sailor moon, magic knight ray earth, card captor sakura, winx (though not technically an anime), and some tokyo mew mew.

i wouldn't have put it there. but it was on the list of magical girl animes.
my issue with it is magical girls are just different forms of themselves. like themselves in costumes.
but Dark is like a different person inside Daisuke. And some for Krad as the villain inside the other dude whose name i don't remember.
