hah. i don't either linny. slow for chickfila is what other restaurants call busy. so.

hopefully eventually. i know it's the goal for me to be mostly in the back, but we've been so short staffed lately that it's just not happening.

i know you like your job so that's good then, at least you are busy and making money!

haha yep. and i got like 50 hours last week, so overtime pay is definitely a thing for me.

I'm exhausted from laughing so much today. When business chilled, we got even more joke happy than usual. My coworkers are great.

i like days like that at work. where everyone is just silly.

I mean, some of these people are like that no matter what, but we had more time to goof.

Interesting song picks. It went very heavy on the metal side, but the gazette has always been a favorite of mine. I guess oshare kei might be considered separate for the poppier and bright/cute side of it, but I'd consider it more of a subgroup because it's part of the same costume+music culture.

The gazette isn't crazy in the costumes either. They're pretty concept based with lyrics and not overly extravagant.

generally speaking the people bagging together are talking shit to each other. as are the two people in the headset room.

having the day off on a tuesday is so weird. i almost don't know what to do with myself. i haven't had a day off in the middle of the week without having plans in a while.

We have four headsets and we need it. Like during mornings, it's drive thru, bar/drive thru, bar, and oven.

Well I mean we have two people whose sole job is literally to take orders on headset. Like they're not doing anything else except maybe sticking sauce containers. Just taking orders.

Yeah, we have it designed so that the people making the orders can hear it too rather than waiting for the orders to print. That's why bar and oven have headsets too.

ah yeah that makes sense. ours is all electronic screens. so once we start taking the order kitchen can see it. and then once we store the order the people in DT can see it (cuz we have to store them in the order the cars are leaving the headset boxes since we have two)

curly fries was my motivation for that. i love their curly fries

It just works best when multiple people can hear what's going on.

i think for us. it's a we have to put our headset in the back of the store cuz it's so noisy you wouldn't be able to understand anything. and so people up front having headsets would be useless

Or like, you telepathically put info on a card and scan it at the order box and we receive that. Less weird though it kills the point of customer service. They expect us to be robots anyway.
