it was the villain of the season reveal and now i'm just like but WHY

I see. There a new villain for every season or something?

for the most part. there's kinda one running villain/not-villain (basically he was the villain in the first season, died, came back from the dead, and now we're all waiting for him to become the villain again b/c it's only a matter of time)

but yeah. each season has a new big bad. this season it's a benefactor that's put out a hitlist of all the supernatural creatures in the town.

it is, but that's what make teen wolf awesome. it's so complicated. there's so many threads. it's great.

well this show is pretty dark and violent

I think I just spend an hour researching the Swedish military, foreign relations, and general NATO and UN battlegroups and other defense-type agreements for my fanfic. I got distracted by Us-Uk relations somewhere in there too.

yeah, i didn't expect it to end up this dark. season 1 is really cheesy but it definitely got there and realized it's found it stride their.

Yep. Today I checked out who all have nuclear weapons. I thought I needed someone besides America to do the initial counterattack, but I may change that anyway. How quick do you think the world would resort to nukes after getting attacked by aliens?

i would say probably pretty quickly

That's what I thought. Due to my chapter orders though, it can either be China a couple hours after the initial attack. Or it's waiting until a week in to come from Russia and or America.

hm. i wonder if a couple of hours is too quick. but one week seems to long

exactly and I don't really want China to be the first either. I want to write that scene out though. I can only justify waiting a week because the countries are in chaos and I dunno...they could at least try to speak with the aliens.

Depends on which country....But yeah, it's not like they won't attack with other things first. A nuke may not be the first choice though. I don't know how safe it is to be detonating those things at giant UFO's above your own country.

I don't know why I ended up writing something so complex. It started as a DenSu daydream back when I was on vacation...lord almighty it ran away with me.

especially where I'm involved. I guess the second I decided the attacker was aliens, I lost. There was no keeping it small anymore.

yeah, aliens kinda keep things from being small.

I'm sure someone out there has written a short uncomplicated alien invasion story, but doesn't seem right to me.
