Night Elvilla.

I used to be like that, Seri. I seem to be finding a middle ground...There's hope yet, I guess?

Haha I hope so....though on one hand it gives me more reason to write, if only to quite my mind for a time. It also serves well when the need to find multiple logical points to convince someone of this or that arises. *shrugs*

Hmm dunno if I want to or not....it's another of those mind boggling things. >.< The boyfriend absolutely hates it, as it tends to stress me out a bit at times.

"Convince someone of this or that" caught my attention. Could this mean that you are at all interested in..

.. a discussion?

I'm pretty much driven by pixie dust and insanity.

Those sound like perfectly acceptable things to be driven by, as far as I'm concerned.

I, myself, am driven by the written word, the changes in the wind, and flights of fancy.

Pixie dust as in that artificially coloured and artificially flavoured sugar candy that comes in those plastic straw things?

That's because I'm a ninja. Didn't they tell you? o.o

I would think advertising the fact that you are a ninja would be detrimental to your professional ambitions?

I love the word detrimental.

And no, they didn't tell me. They never tell me anything.

One would think so. But in the end, even if you know who the ninja is, you won't see them coming for you until it's too late. Every good ninja knows to strike when you least expect it.

Besides, if one never announces one's profession, how does one find work?

Tis a good word. I enjoy being verbose ;)

Through secret ninja channels, of course.

What if you could never catch them unexpecting? As a ninja myself, I always expect the unexpected.

But therein lies one of the greatest questions of all, can one, by definition, ever truly expect the unexpected?

Well if you're constantly expecting the unexpected then 'the unexpected' ceases to exist and therefore disproves the action of 'expecting the unexpected'.

Everyone slips eventually. Simply by being human we can never indefinitely do away with the need for that particular action, no matter how skilled of vigilant we might be. Fallibility lies in all of us.

Ah, the thread is here. <3

That is quite an interesting paradox. The closest thing that one can do is attempt to expect anything that is even remotely possible - but that is quite difficult, as many expectations will contradict one another.
