Day: September 2 - MORNING

Harry/Ron/Hermione/Ginny: still in Great Hall, looking at schedules
McGonagall: I assume still distributing schedules, but last heard of in Great Hall
Pansy: fleeing distraughtly. with letter? without letter?
Luna: I assume in Great Hall.
Cho Chang: I PM'd her player about coming back to post, but haven't heard back yet.
Main Villain: eating breakfast in her mother's house
Malfoys: at Grimmauld Place
Snape: in prison

Pansy's got the letter. I'm working on a post right now. Sorry it takes me so long. I just gotta figure out what to say XD

I don't know what Flair is but I've got Facebook, and I totally agree with that button! I'm halfway through the book right now and it's actually rather enjoyable (a little while after Ron saved Harry from the icy water pond). I'm surprised!

Well considering I've never read any of the books before and I just headed straight for the ending, it's actually pretty good. XD

Yeaaaaaaah...I'll be going back and buying up the rest after I'm done with this anyway. Besides, most things are already spoilered out for me via the movies and Wikia.

*sniff* I am so sorry. You really should have started at the beginning :cry: really, the last three books were terrible compared to the first four.

I don't doubt it. The first four were more of happy times then when Voldy came back, everything got serious.

@Marguerite: LOL. The books are *really* great. They're coming out of the same tradition as the Narnia books and Diana Wynne Jones... evil uncles, magic, schoolchildren, groups of friends, boys doing things adults really should be doing but are too stupid to realize they need to... JKR just took the usual British fantasy school story tropes and modernized them.

Anyways, folks, today is bad -- we have pest spraying coming tomorrow morning and I have to empty every single cupboard, drawer, and cabinet, and move all the furniture away from the walls. As this is completely impossible, I'm simply doing my best. I'll be on as much as I can tomorrow, though, and things should be back to normal soon.

As for yesterday -- I spent SEVENTEEN BLOODY HOURS IN THE CAR getting from LA to SF and back. It should have taken TWELVE. And then two hours in the hospital with my father-in-law, who's dying... again... Maybe this time he finally will, as he's been in a lot of pain for the last ten years. But that's not my decision to make, and honestly I do hope he'll pull through, as I rather like him.

DANG I thought it took 9 hours to get from SoCal to NorCal. That sucks : ( I hate daytrips like that. Good luck with what you need to do though. <3

It's supposed to take 6-7 hours to go from my part of Los Angeles to my brother-in-law's part of San Francisco. It took NINE. And then we had to drive down to the hospital where my father-in-law is, and then we had to drive back down to Los Angeles...

I left LA at six a.m., reached SF at three p.m., and then left S.F. at 5pm and reached L.A. at 8 pm.

Hey guys, sorry I poofed. Started my new job and it just drained me of all motivation! [It is going really well though!]
I would be posting this weekend, but I'm being taken hostage and kidnapped [not against my will of course] to camp.
I'll post when I get back, but if anyone needs to push my characters alone feel free.

Argh. I'm not in a shape right now to chase after everyone (don't know if I mentioned yet this fellowship thing—I thought it was due September 10, as that's what the email announcement first said, and then the second email announcement two days ago suddenly moved it to AUGUST 19, which is, like three weeks fewer and I have to get host country affiliates and transcripts of everywhere I've ever attended and three rec letters and a language proficiency evaluation and it's super competitive so yeah), but over the weekend I will do some serious PMing. (or PMSing, if needed. XD)
