Skie jumped up after Brendon and nodded."Well of course my good friend.I'm quite starving....I think I shall have some tea and biscuits."She said in a really bad british accent.She chuckled and locked arms with Brendon.She quickly turned aorund and led the way towards the lunch room. "So my good sure.What are you going to have for lunch this fine day?"She said

"Quite good, M'lady, I shall escort you there presently," Brendon replied in his best imitation of a British accent, unfortunately, he came off sounding more Australian than anything. It was actually rather funny.
"Uh...sorry...i kind of suck at accents haha. But i want pizza, with olives," He chuckled.

Syrine walked into the school. Her bright eyes flickered as she surveyed her surroundings. "Let's get this over with" she sighed, shifting her books in her arms, a black bag on her shoulder. Syrines high heels clicked against the floor, as she looked for someone that could help her around. "I hate switching schools..."

Carlin noticed a young man sitting in the grass motionless, looking worried about something. I guess he must had something to do with this or he's new to the school and doesn't know what to do. Carlin thought to herself as she helped Xane take Dex to the infirmary.The lunch bell ranged meaning that break time was over. Carlin looked over to Xane and said,"You didn't drag me into this, i choose to help, remember? And please do explain to me what is happening."

Xane sighed and shook his head, "Alright, this is going to be a long explaination. This is Dex, my twin brother as I've already told you. Now the thing with us is that there's this kind of mental link that we can use to communicate with each other. This is how I knew Dex was in trouble. Now about a year ago, Dex started getting these weird visions that usually come true sometime in the future. These are called premonitions. They can come in handy most of the time, but the only problem with them is that Dex feels everything that happens in the vision....and I do mean everything." He explained. He turned to Dex and frowned, "For example, if someone is being torchured in the premonition, Dex feels the pain that person is going through at that moment. It's horrible to watch him suffer like this alone, but most of the time he wants to. I don't know why, but this time he sent me a distress signal. He never does this. This is what has me so concerned."
Xane stopped as he heard Dex groan and blink open his eyes. "Hey, you okay? You look like you're gonna be sick...."

Dex blinked and turned to Xane, "You have no idea....what I just went through. All I'm gunna say is that things are going to get very interesting around here. I'd keep a very close eye on that new kid if I were you. What's his name again? Brendon?" Dex rolled his eyes and sat up, then looked at the clock. "Oh joy, another study hall. However, you brother, are late for class. But wait a second! That's not my problem! Well, I'm out of here. Tell the nurse or whatever I'm fine."
And with that said, Dex got up and left. As he made his way down the hall, he noticed yet another new kid.....but this one was cute. He narrowed his eyes and slipped in next to her, matching his pace to hers. "Well hey there. You look new here. My name is Dex Kindo......and you are?"

Syrine paused when the guy walked with her. "hey, I'm Syrine, Syrine Stilleto. Pleasure to meet you Dex." She smiled. Damn, he's cute. "I'm new here, I don't suppose you have the time to show me around?" She pulled her schedule out from between the books in her arms. "It says I have study hall right now, but I'm so lost it's not funny."

Dex's eyes glimmered with that sort of look that said 'I know you think I'm hot and I totally know you want me.' He flashed her his signature 250 kilowatt firefly flicker smile, "Study hall, huh? Well then love, you're in luck because I happen to have study hall as well. Do you mind if I call you that? I think it fits....that or angel." Dex's eyes flashed a bright fuchsia as he asked her this.

Syrine flashed her fangs. "Call me angel and I'll show you what kind of devil I am." She flipped her hair off her shoulders, she hated when she was found out. Guys shouldn't know what we think of them, it unevens the playing field. "I have nothing against love, so long as you don't mind me calling you that as well."

Carlin listened to Xane intently and carefully. She watched as Dex, got up and walked out. Your welcome Carlin thought as Dex walked past her. She turned her attention back to Xane. Carlin stood there for a couple of minutes not knowing what to say. "What class do you need to go to and do you think the nurse will give us a pass back to class?" Carlin asked, for she still didn't know what to say.

Brendon did his best not to laugh as he tried to work out his accent a few more times,
"Cup of Teey, Cuup of teey..." He said to himself in a horrible half Australian, half British, accent, "The raain in spain.."
Stopping then, and sparing the ears of everyone around him a horrible death, he lifted his head and held completely still for a moment, arching his head forward like a dog in the middle of a hunt. Something in his eyes began to change as well but with a blink or so they returned to their normal blue.
"That creepy vampire guy is really loud...But at least i didnt kill him heh," He chuckled, a little nervously.

Xane shrugged, "I dunno. We can always ask I suppose. I hope she'll give us a pass; I've never been late for this class and I've heard that the teacher gets real mad if you walk in late. I don't know how true this is, but I'd rather not find out personally." He got up and went into the nurse's private office. When he came back, he waved a slip of pale blue paper at Carlin, "Let's go."

Dex laughed and put his hands in his pockets, "Hey if it makes you happy, go for it. I suppose I'll just have to get used to being called that. Normally most people call me fox......that or kit. It's short for kitsune. I guess being the only guy here that can shape-shift into a white fox is quite peculiar to some people. I got called kit once and it's stuck ever since." he finished with a charming smile.
As they walked down the hall, Dex got an idea. "How about....we go sign into the study hall, then we can sign right back out and take a leisurely stroll around the school grounds? Personally I hate being cramped up inside when it's a beautiful day outside....."

"mmm Fox. I like it." She grinned. "Most people just call me Syra." Syrine bit her lower lip. "Alright, that sounds like a much better idea. Now where is the Study Hall?"

Dex smiled and gestured to the door on the left. "Right here. Ladies first, love." He said casually. As he followed Syra inside, he could feel the stares of the kids left in the room. He frowned and sent out a message only they could hear, 'Stare at me a little longer and I'll rip those damn eyes right out of your faces! Now turn back to your business and get on with your life! There's nothing to see here!'

Xane walked down the hall to class with Carlin at a brisk pace. "Hey, uh, thanks again for helpin with Dex. I know he didn't seem very grateful for it, but I'm sure he was.....I think." He shook his head in discontent, "Dex is just like that. He very rarely gives out compliments, he's very good at picking on a persons sensitive topic, he never seems to be grateful for anything, and no matter what anyone may do for him, it never seems to be enough. I don't know why he acts like this, but he does." Xane sighed from all the stress, "But as much as he treats people badly, I still worry about him. I keep telling him he needs to talk to mum about the premonitions, but he doesn't listen. 'I can take care of myself', that's what he always says.....but I keep getting the feeling that he's lying to me."
Xane stopped suddenly and looked at Carlin, "You know, you're very easy to talk to. I've never been able to tell anyone about all this before without having to worry what they'll think of me. Thanks. Heh, I'll try not to talk so much anymore."

Syrine walked into the room, instantly feeling the stares. She flipped her hair, and held her head high. Uhg, just like everywhere else. She rolled her eyes, and went to sign in. Her handwriting was elegant and script. While she waited for the Dex to sign in, she put her books in her over-sized bag, and shifted things around as if to look for something.

Brendon twitched slightly and held his ears shut, suddenly unable to turn down his super sense of hearing down. The noise they were making wasnt loud, even with his senses heightened, but it was really annoying. Plus he didnt want to eavesdrop, but he found it impossible not to.
'Maybe i should invest in some of those noise blocking headphones...then i wouldnt feel like such a jerk at times like this,' he thought to himself with a little grumble.

Carlin listened and followed Xane to class. Carlin was not really a person who always got to class on time, so it was kinda normal for her to be late. Xane's sudden stop in the hall way caught Carlin a little off guard and she began to blush, for she was really close to him."You can talk as much as you want," Carlin smiled at Xane then spoke once more again."And I'm glad you can talk to me.It makes me happy." Carlin backed up and began to walk to the class again, waiting for Xane to join her."I like you so i'll keep what you told me a secret, only if you want me to."

Brendon shook his head like a wet dog to clear his head. It seemed to help a bit as he seemed much more calm and content, though he obviously was hearing things around him that he didnt want to, as he returned his gaze to Skie cheerily.
"Where were we going again?" He asked, "Oh...cafeteria...right...Is it even lunch time?..." He mused to himself.

Dex signed in quick on the sign-in sheet....Dex Kindo. "There." he said quietly before turning to Syrine. "Alright then love, shall we go entertain ourselves with the foolish weres....or would you rather take a leisurly stroll around the grounds? Maybe a nice....snack from the cafe?" His eyes gleamed mischeviously as he said this. He flashed her a smile, "Of course, the choice is all yours. You are a new friend.....you should get the first pick naturally."

((Hey everyone I have some news as to why I'm never on anymore. I have VERY bad internet connection....dial-up to be exact. It's very, very, very slow. However, with a bit of luck, I should be getting road runner soon so please just try to have some pateince with me. I've been trying to get on as much as possible, but to no prevail. I also have summer school so that's also been cutting into my internet time. Now, I have to ask this. Even if I'm not on, unless you're just conjragating with me, please continue on with the story even if I'm not on. This forum is my second one ever. My last forum completely died because no one wanted to post when I wasnt on. Thus the forum went caput. :( I'd really appretiate if this forum continued on when I'm not on, but this doesnt mean I'll never be on. I'll keep trying to get on whenever I can. Thanks a bunch everyone! :D))

Kail stepped out of the administration office and took a deep breath. Having already missed most of the days classes in addition to only just arriving, he was excused for the rest of the day. "One more... just one more..." He muttered to himself in an exhausted tone of self-motivation. There were only a few students who were still walking about, most of them had classes at this time of day. Out of habit, Kail flicked his wrist and grabbed the pendant hanging from a small chain on his wrist. The pendant was simple, (an "X" design) and poorly crafted, but, like every time he grabbed it, a sad expression crossed his face. He started fiddling with the pendant and began to wonder aimlessly, lost in thought.

Syrine twirled a lock of hair around her finger. "Shall we start with a leisurely stroll then head for lunch?" She asked smiling. She shifted her bag higher on her shoulder, making sure none of her long hair got caught under the strap.

Syrine followed Dex towards the doors, hesitating as he held the door open. She paused and dug through her shoulder bad, to pull out a black lacey parasol. Laying it over her shoulder, to protect herself from the sun, she walked outside. She looked at Dex smiling, "I love being outside during the day, unfortunetly the sun doesn't enjoy my company half as much." She giggled a bit. "sorry, vampire humour..." she looked away, and surveyed her surroundings. The soft breeze lifted and played with small tendrils of hair, and her expression softened to innocents. Her fingernails tapped on the handle of her parasol, in time to the clicking of her high heels on the pavement.

Dex followed her out and whipped out a pair of wrap-around sunglasses. "I know what you mean. The sun isn't the kindest of things when I'm out and about in it, but it isnt so bad as long as I'm wearing this." He flashed her ring on his finger. "Wards away most of the sun."

She looked at his ring. "How lovely..." Syrine murmured, and without thinking reached out her hand to study the jewlery. "OUCH!" She cried, pulling her hand back sharply. Her fingers had reached outside the shadow of her parasol, causing them to singe. Biting her lower lip, she held her hand against the soft material of her top. "and may I add, how lucky to have found such a relic." She gave a helpless giggle, embarrassed by her own actions.

Dex shrugged, "It's not really the ring that protects me, it's the stone. It was given to me by the vampire that turned me in the first place. He said that it should be worn on the left hand so as to aid in my protection against the sun, or something like that." He smiled and adjusted his glasses, "I could probably get you one. I'm suprised you havent heard of anything like this.....My brother wears one too. I guess we got lucky to get some...." Glaring up at the sky, he added, "However, the sun still does drain quite a bit of my energy. Takes more effort to walk around in broad daylight, so you can imagine why I don't do it often."
Dex blinked and turned for the commons outside, "If I may ask, are you the harassing type? I do believe if I'm not mistaken, that there are a fresh group of beings that just started here. It would be fun to.....welcome them, don't you think?" he asked with a sarcastic smile.

Oh wow, you haven't the slightest clue as to how good it feels to be back and on top of the latest happenings again!! :sweat: Again, so sorry that I wasn't here over the summer, but now that schools back in session, I shouldn't be dissappearing for that long of a time again!! :) Now, as you all can see, my forum has definately fallen into a bit of a slump, so I think it's time to REALLY get things moving!!
