((no idea whats going on with your character.. Syra and Dex/Griever are in some woods off to the side of the school, she's discovered that she has a hidden power inside her, and Griever just helped her release it))

((Syra, well the last i knew my character was meant to be evil and was there to slughter everyone......... i think so :S))

"Yes, but for myself that was a simple little exercise; not even enough that I had to concentrate." replied Griever. He winced slightly, "It seems my time outside my prison is over. Before I go, however, there is something I need to explain. This is extremely important. When using your power, each action you take with it uses some of the magick stored in you. For example, if you tried to cast the spell that I just did, it would probably kill you. The magick stored in you is nothing compared to mine, so don't think every Gyeist can cast the same spells and receive the same results. The stronger and greater amount of magick you use at a time, the greater 'recoil' you'll receive afterward. Once you yourself become stronger, that is when your amount of stored magick will increase, understand?"

Syra looked back at Griever and nodded slowly. "I understand. Keep it simple, until I get stronger." She walked back to him, and kissed his cheek. "Thank you Griever, for everything." She smiled.

Griever rose an eyebrow and smirked, "Oh no. The pleasure was all mine." he answered as the feathers swirlled up around him. 'What an interesting young vampiress....'

Dex's electric green eyes blinked open slowly to see Syra watching. "I see you're still okay and unharmed. That's good news all in itself." Shaking his head to clear the rest of the haze, he stood up and brushed the twigs and dead leaves off his pants, "So, how did you first encounter with Griever go? Did he tell you anything useful or did he just speak to you in riddles? He's been know to do that at times...."

Syrine smiled wide at Dex. "Yes I'm fine. Griever was a gentleman. Except when he unlocked my powers and I hit the ground in pain." she waved the point aside. "But nevermind that. It went well. He told me more about my power. Very few riddles." Giggling she leaned close, looking at his eyes and hair. "He also told me a bit about you...Blondy..." She covered her mouth with her palm as she laughed.

Xane frowned in puzzlement, "I seriously hope you're not one to go around starting trouble. I can truthfully tell you that if this is the case, you will not like the outcome, especially if you meet my brother. He won't let you get away with saying anything." His eyes narrowed as he delt out this warning. This was true though, Dex was not someone to be taken lightly, especially if you were to catch him on a bad day. The best thing to do was to avoid him completely, but this kid didn't seem like the smart type to do that. He came off like the sort of person to start something intentionally, and truthfully, those type of people never got along with Dex, even on his best of days.

Jake chuckled a bit then he glared at the male in front of him with a great evil in his eyes, for a second there was a dark arua around him, he shook his head and looked blankly at him "wait... when did i get here?" he asked looking puzzled

((Jake has a split personality, his great evil side and his kind and generous side :P and how will he can't be evil like we planned :o))

Dex's pupils dialated until there was only a thin circle of green around them, but it only lasted a few seconds before they returned to normal. "Yeah, so? I was born a blonde; that certainly doesn't mean I act like one." He smirked, "You'd be suprised at how I can look good in any style of clothing or hair."
Pausing for a moment, Dex frowned and looked briefly up at the tree tops before his gaze fell back on Syrine. "What did Griever tell you? And what did he show you?"

Xane's eyebrows rose in disbelief, "You're joking, right? You can't seriously think that you can play all of that off by acting like you had no idea you were even aware of it. If you really think I'm that gullible, then you must be stupid." His eyes narrowed and he shook his head, "You might as well drop the act cause you're not fooling me..."

Syra giggled "down boy. I think you'd look good blonde. Not that your not amazing with black hair." She pulled her own red locks over her shoulder, and began combing her fingers through the curls.

She paused, recollecting everything that had just happened. "He explained to me the dangers of my powers, helped me unlock them, and understand the consequences of them." She nibbled on her lower lip. "Show me? He destroyed a freakin' boulder! It just burst into pebbles!"

Dex chuckled a bit, "Well I expected something like that. Griever is a major show off for any girl he takes an interest in. He can do some crazy things to impress them, but he's never hurt any of them as far as I know."

"I don't think he could either." She walked over to pick up her parasol. "I got the impression he liked me. Why I couldn't guess... but my real wonder is..." She walked up to Dex and kissed his cheek. "Do you?" She winked and began walking out of the woods, opening her parasol. "We should probably head back. I'm sure our next class must be starting soon." Syra called back. Grateful he was behind her and couldn't see her faint blush.

Jake looked at Xane with slight fear "joking? why would i be joking... all i remember is seeing... a boy, then it went black" he looked down in shame "im not even sure what i have done" he sighed as he turned around "i guese you wont beleive me... no-one does"

Dex's eyes dialated till a thin line of vivid green surrounded them, "Uh y-yes, of course. Classes...." He sighed and followed Syrine out of the woods, back to the outside plaza. Next class was transformation techniques, one of his favorites. It was the one class that he excelled in and the teacher often used him as a demonstration model. "What's your next class, if I may ask?" he said as he pulled out his dark wrap around shades.

"You...really don't remember anything?" Xane sighed and shook his head, "If you're messin' with me, I swear, you're gonna regret it. Do you even remember where you were heading? Or is your entire time here one big blur?"

Syra popped open her parasol, twirling it absently on her shoulder. "uhh, I'm not sure." she laughed. Opening her shoulder bag, she dug through it until she found her little notebook. Flipping it open, she found her schedule. "Um... Study hall... I have Transformation Techniques... I dunno, guess they thought it would be good for my shadow and mist skills...." She put her notebook away, and groaned as her hair again got caught in her parasol. "I'm going to chop my hair off!" She growled, fighting with her hair.

Jake thought for a second then he shook his head "i don't remember a thing, and im not messing... why would i?" he said as he thought for a few more seconds "now you meantion it... i don't remember where i was going, i only remember being in my room then... darkness"

((Just to let everyone know, if you happen to be in a class and you want to temporarilly play the part of a teacher, you're more then welcome to it. There won't be any need to explain who they are, other then the fact that they're a teacher, or what they look like. In other words, you don't need to send me any profiles for them. When you're having them speak however, please use a different color then what your character's actions and speech are in. Thanks!))

Dex smirked, "If you cut your hair off, you'd look like some kind of freak. I think it gives you a sort of.....party look. I like it."
As they walked into transformation class, Dex realized they were about five minutes late. He frowned as all eyes turned to himself and Syra, "It seems my concept of time is a little off. My apologies for keeping you waiting Mr. Smith. By the way, have you met the school's newest student? This is Ms. Syrine, a shadow and mist transformist."

Mr. Smith, looking more like a professor rather then a magician, stood and walked over to the two, "Ah wonderful! It's nice to meet you Syrine. I'm Mr. Smith, as you can see I teach Transformation Techniques. I don't mean to cut the introductions short, but I'm afraid we need to get class started."
He waved his arm and all the desks vanished, leaving an empty room about as big as a small gym. "Alright! Today we're going to start off simple. The transformist must know how to move and transform into his or her different forms even while in the air after, say, leaping over an obstacle for example. Dex, would you care to demonstrate?"

"It would be my pleasure." said Dex as Mr. Smith waved his arm and a large log appeared in the center of the gym. Removing his shades, Dex handed them to Mr. Smith before walking over to stand at the end of the gym. He took a deep breath, concentrated on his objective, then began a stealthy sprint for the log. About two feet away, Dex leaped forward, arms outstretched in front of him, and putting a spiral into his leap he changed from a tall, slim, handsome young man, into a pure white fox with red-tipped ears and five red-tipped, white tails. He landed nimbly on the other side of the log and padded over to Mr. Smith, his tails swishing behind him.

"Yeah but it would make my life easier." She untangled her hair once they got inside. Closing her parasol, she clicked a button that shrunk the handle, making it small enough to fit in her shoulder bag. "Yay for bags of wonder." she pet the soft cloth.
As the entered the classroom, she once again had that feeling of being a freak. She really hated it when everyone watched her.
"Pleasure is mine Mr. Smith." She moved off to the side, not wanting to remain the center of attention.

Dex padded over to Syra and leaped up to dive into her shoulder bag, 'It's quite roomy in here. Very nice place to take a nap, no?' His silvery voice chimmed in Syra's head.

Syra clapped at Dex's transformation, and laughed as he made his way into her bag. 'Just don't crush anything in there.' she warned, slipping her bag off her shoulder and gently setting it down beside her.

Xane frowned, "So you do remember where you are, as in school right? Hmm...." He shook his head and sighed, "Well, why don't you come with me. I was on my way to the library anyway, might as well tag along until your memory comes back..."

Dex poked his head back out of the bag and licked his paw, 'This is my favorite form, well apart from my usual vampire form. I can do anything I like in this form and not have to worry about being penalized for it.' He walked over to Syrine and rubbed his head against her leg, 'And the occasional head scratch is always something I look forward to. Especially when I get picked up and fussed over. My favorite part about looking so sweet and adorable.'

((I'm only going to be on every other day, and not on the weekends. Just in case you guys haven't noticed already :lol: Oh, and if I'm not on for more then four days at a time, it means that I'm either sick and not in school or that I'm very busy trying to keep my grades up and working on something during study hall. Also, if I post, but don't post everything I'm supposed to {Like what happened with dragonjake} it's because I didn't have enough time to type and post everything I wanted to because I ran out of study hall time. Thanks for understanding! :)))

Jake nodded at Xane "ok then..." he sighed a bit and shook his head "sorry that i can't remember... it happens quite alot lately" he said and sighed again

Syra giggled. "Your fur tickles." she whispered bending down to pick Dex up. She lined up with the other students, and petted him. 'This is so weird. I've never changed on someone else's call.' she sent the thought to him.

At her turn, Syra sat Dex down. Following the actions of the others, she sprinted to the log. Mid jump, she curled her body into a ball as the tips of her body began to melt away. By the time she made it to the ground, it was simply a visual of falling mist that crept across the floor.

Mr. Smith's eyebrows rose as Syrine finished her transformation. "Why, Miss Syrine, you're transformation ability is still in evolution stage. In fact, I believe it doesn't have a final form. This is the rarest case I've ever seen. Hm, I wonder...." He paused for a moment, thinking hard, then nodded as if to come to an agreement with himself. "Have you tried to transform into another form after you've already shifted into mist? If I'm not mistaken, your ability allows you to transform into anything you please once you've shifted into mist." He tapped a finger on his lips as Dex walked over to sit at his feet, "Why don't you try something simple to start with? Maybe a cat? Or a bird? Nothing too big yet."

Dex licked his paw and swiped it over his ear. 'Why doesn't she start with a normal fox? She's been petting me since I shifted so I'm sure she knows the simple make up of a fox body. Not to mention that she watched me make the shift. I'm sure she can get it; first try too.' he said as he swished his tails over his paws.
