"Well...I don't really want to pull you in if I don't have to." With that, Léan half-leapt out of the water and grabbed her arm, tugging. It wasn't a hard tug, but it looked like a hard tug.

She gave a very short nod, her eyes widening in surprise and shock as she let out a small yelp, dropping the fish into the water. Lyra gripped the railing with one hand as she was being tugged, "Help!" she yelled, sounding panicked enough and terrified. She seemed to try and struggle hard enough, though they were slightly weak tugs as she leaned down some more. It seemed he was winning on the tugging her in the water.

Before she could be tugged into the water, the guards rushed back into the room. One of them went into the small room a the start of the railing for something to smack Léan away with while the other hurried over and tried to separate the two of them.

Léan, seeing an opening, sank his teeth into the man's arm, releasing Lyra once he'd had his fun. The man let out a pained yell, and then lost his footing slightly, one leg slipping into the water as Léan ripped away at his arm.

Lyra almost tumbled back at the sudden release, her knee 'accidentally' bumping the bucket of fish so that the fish would spill into the water. It caused further distraction as the fish scattered around. She resisted a small laugh at the man, knowing it might be a bit cruel, but he deserved it. She took the chance of the other guard being gone as she scoped the mans body for the card. Finding it she lunged forward to try and 'help' the man back up, but in reality she was trying to take the card away from his pocket as she started to wrap her arms around his waist.

Léan seemed to almost chew at the man's arm, staring at him with hate-filled eyes. The man's key card wasn't secured to much of anything, so it slid off of his belt easily.

Just in time, as well. The other guard returned with a long net used for cleaning the pool. He cocked his arm back and swung the net at Léan, hitting him in the torso. He wailed in pain and sank back underwater, holding his side slightly. But, he was grinning.

The damage to the guard's arm was a bite mark that reached nearly to the bone. The second guard shooed Lyra away. "Go on out. We'll be fine." He was pulling his emergency gauze off of his equipment belt to patch up the first guard's arm.

'That must have hurt. But at least it wasn't anything worse than a hit.' She blinked as she backed up, having stuck the card up her sleeves. She nodded, looking scared as she took her purse and started to scramble down the walkway towards the door. Lyra almost paused for a moment before she shot Léan a small smirk. "Got what he deserved." she stated softly though still audible, more towards the guard than anything. It wouldn't really be caught by them since they'd think she was talking about the merman. As she made her way to the door, she opened her purse and shifted the card into it before anyone'd notice the shape of the card through the fabric.

Léan, who had ducked down below the water, swam around casually, as if mocking the guards above. The onlookers were shocked, scared, and even amused by his behavior. He glanced at Lyra when she walked back in front of the tank, then glanced away, grinning.

She almost laughed shaking her head somewhat and looked at him, closing her purse as she joined the onlookers. She paused on walking near the middle of the crowd. "Well, that was fun." she muttered softly, closing her eyes as she looked around for her friends. It was about the time for them to show up. 'Or, did I have to go to the food court?' she asked herself, tilting her head.

After she left, Léan sped around the tank, enjoying his feast of fish. He was glad he had something to do, now. He had been disgruntled and bored earlier. He was looking forward to getting out of this place. It was just...terrible. He couldn't see how other fish lived so easily in this place.

She didn't have to look for very long as she was tackled from behind, stumbling forward in surprise. "Gah!" She looked to the side and relaxed somewhat before she smirked. "Hey Val. what's up?" she asked casually.

"Lyra! Where were you?" came the voice from her friend, a brown haired girl with blue eyes. She was an inch shorter than her but that didn't seem to matter as the girl clung to her tightly.

She smirked, prying her friend away from her before shrugging. "Feeding a merman?" she questioned. She laughed as her friend's eyes widened somewhat at what she'd said. Looking around, Lyra bit her lip before grabbing Val's arm, taking her toward a more secluded area to tell her about the plan.

Léan was glad he was full after a while. Seeing the fish swimming around was a calming sight to him. He sprawled himself out on the fake rocks, laying out on his side, his tailfin flicking back and forth boredly. He didn't seem to mind the stares so much now that he knew he would be getting out of here soon enough.

Lyra took a french fry from the tray. They were sitting, now at the food court at a semi secluded table as she'd found her other friend looking for them with their food. "So.. Will you help?" she asked after a moment. They had both seemed surprised but not really too bothered by the idea. It was a good thing, since she didn't want to be stumped right in the middle of it, and she needed all the help she could get.

Val thought about it before shrugging giving Lyra a small smile. "Sure hon, we'll help. I'll call Xypher and get him to come around here. We could try this in two days. To find out more about the aquarium, and where we could find something to carry the guy out of here." she said softly.

The male, a nineteen year old with black hair and green eyes, blinked and sighed, taking a sip from his drink before answering, "Well. We're going to need to disable cameras and everything. So make it three. Including today though." he commented, looking thoughtful. "We'll see." He still wasn't sure if it'd work, but as he'd said. They'd just have to see.

( Skipped a little. ^ ^' Ah, but.. Would you like to skip though to the next day or to the day where they're going to smuggle him out? )

((Maybe skipping to the smuggling day would be better, since they're just going to be doing some scoping-out of the aquarium.))

Alrighty then. ^ ^- )

A few hours before closing time, Lyra walked in the area where they were holding the tank. The crowds were still a bit big, but had lessened throughout the day as the time got later. Since today was the day they were going to smuggle him out, she came prepared with the card, and clothes that'd blend in when it was darker. She was wearing a black pair of pants and a black jacket over a white t-shirt, hair pulled back today. She'd figured out where to hide when it was a couple minutes to closing and was now, just pretending to be another face in the crowd. Xypher, would have the jet and everything else taken care of, all they needed to do was give him a call when they were at the hotel. He'd also told them how to disable the cameras around the area they were holding Léan, and the exits. It seemed easy enough. The others were either wandering around, or not there yet.

Léan was sleeping, curled up in a slight ball on one of the rocks. Since the staff had seen his calm reaction to fish in the tank, they'd dumped a fair amount of small fish inside, but no precious tuna. They hadn't done much else, and the tank was starting to get a little dirty because he still attacked any divers they sent down to clean. The top of the tank was clean, but the bottom was starting to get filthy...

She smirked a little at seeing he was asleep but shrugged. He'd need the rest for tonight. Though, it was right on time their day to get him out of there since the tank wasn't looking so sanitary. She tilted her head before sighing, checking the time on her watch. "Two hours left." she muttered before glancing back at Léan. "See you soon." she said before walking away to waste more time.

Lyra was now hiding in one of the storage rooms nearest to the tank. She'd managed to sneak in when one of the cleaning people left it unlocked and hid herself behind the mops and rolls of paper and the like. She snorted somewhat since some of the things smelled strong. It was only a couple of minutes left until closing time so she was hoping that the others had also hid somewhere.

Léan had woken up by this time, and he was lounging on that same rock, looking unhappy. He hoped that human wasn't kidding about helping him to escape. He wanted out of here, and he would do just about anything to get out. Growing bored, he swam around the upper part of the tank, not wanting to swim in the filthy water below that.

Waiting until there was no more noises of any movements, Lyra checked her cell phone for the time. It seemed like the coast was clear. Carefully moving from behind the supplies and other carts and the like, she grabbed one of the carts they used to transport some of the medium sized fish to their new tanks. It'd hopefully be big enough for at least the bottom half of Léan. She opened the door cautiously, checking if there were any people, and with the coast clear she walked out, dragging the cart behind her. "Damien?" she muttered softly blinking in the darkened area. She saw a figure, but wasn't sure if it was her friend or not.

The figure waved her over as he smirked, getting a small flashlight turned on. "I'm here. C'mon we have twenty minutes before the cameras unjam. Got everything?" he asked, tilting his head.

She nodded and blinked at the light. "Yeah, let's go." she said, getting the cart and walking to the stairs and leaving the cart down there, since she couldn't bring it up the stairs with Damien. He'd help carry Léan down. If he was comfortable with that. She took out the key card and put it in the slot and put the password in to open the door. "Léan?"

Léan perked up at once, speeding to the top of the tank and breaching the surface. He placed his hands on the metal railing, tail swishing back and forth rapidly and excitedly. "I was beginning to think you wouldn't come," he informed her, a content look on his face. He seemed pleased about this. He had begun to think he would never see his brother, or the open ocean, ever again. He certainly didn't want to do tricks for humans, or be their plaything. He just wanted to get back to the sea.

Lyra chuckled, walking closer to the edge of the railing and looked down at him. He seemed more excited than earlier. "Of course I'd come. We just had to wait for the coast and cameras to be clear." she said before nodding behind her to her friend, who waved cheerfully. "This is Damien. One of my friends who agreed to help. Um.. We need to carry you down to the cart." she said slightly unsure of the last part. Though, it was needed and no need to beat around the bush.

Léan shifted, obviously wary of Damien since he did not know him--and he was more wary of males than females, with any species--but nodded, grimacing. "...Fine...fine. I don't think I'm going to enjoy being lifted, but do what you must. Anything to get out of this place." His hatred for the aquarium seemed to surpass his wariness of humankind. Quite an achievement.

Lyra nodded and held out her arm for him to take so they could lift him up. "Alright. It won't be for too long, just to get down the stairs." she said with a small apologetic smile. "Now, c'mon. we have a bit more than fifteen minutes." she said.

Damien moved closer, taking the small flashlight into his mouth so he'd be able to help with both arms. he door had been left open with a door stopper. He also leaned down somewhat to help lift him. "I'll be holding your bottom half, if that's fine with you." he said before glancing around to make sure it was still clear.

"Anything to get me out of here," Léan murmured, grabbing onto each of their arms. He tried to help lift himself up, but he was weak from being stuck in here for the past few days and didn't have much strength left anymore. They hadn't fed him enough, and the dirty water had been sapping his strength.

They both gripped onto his arms and helped lift him up onto the walkway before Lyra let go of his arm, moving herself behind him, her arms wrapping under his shoulders while Damien went to grab his tail. "Alright, up we go." she said, lifting him up at the same time as Damien. They kept their grip firm, but both were making sure to not harm him. "Dami, go first, be careful of the stairs." she said before walking to the door as soon as he did. "How long do you have before you need to be in water again?" she asked.

"Up to four days," Léan murmured, softly. He wasn't sure if he liked the feeling of being carried, and he was perfectly still. "I have lungs. They are not very efficient, but I do have them..."
