"Moron is not slang. Its meaning has simply been changed and changed so many times in the eyes of the public that its original meaning has faded away..." Léan informed her, pointedly.

She looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "What did it mean then?" she asked. She hadn't known that part.

"Hm..." Léan furrowed his eyebrows. "I am used to the modern definition of moron, but I do believe the old definition was 'someone who makes mistakes.' There are quite a few overused and overchanged words in your dictionary. Like, really, very...even your curse words..."

She nodded. "Some examples of those can be gay, slut, or the um, bish part." she commented, not wanting to go into the other words. "But well then, I didn't know that part." she said before shaking her head. "I guess we're big in recycling.. Thoug, not in a good way right now."

"Your society should learn to run on renewable fuels instead of drilling our oceans for oil," Léan muttered. "It doesn't make much sense to me. Our society uses clean energy."

She offered an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that. For the moment, there are people trying to change that, but for now it seems that the 'big people' want to stick with the oil.." she said, shaking her head. "If it helps, more and more people are trying to make it so it lessens?"

Léan nodded, frowning. "...I find it so strange how your world seems to run on money and nothing more. From what I've studied, even your justice system runs on money..."

Lyra almost chuckled, nodding. "That's true.. But, I suppose 'money makes the world go round' even if it sucks.." she said, shrugging. "What do you guys have to do? Or, how do things work?" she asked.

"Instead of trading around useless bits of paper, we trade goods. Jewelry, precious stones and metals...food items. Anything can be offered up in a trade..." Léan hummed.

She tilted her head somewhat. "Some places do that. But the thing is most people don't want to trade things, since all their stuff is wanted. And, other things are worth more." she said. "It might also be a bit easier to just trade goods, but somehow. It might be confusing since, there were things that are worth more than what you have right now. Like a car."

Léan shrugged. "Our system has worked for centuries. In the end, your 'currency' is just bits of paper and small amounts of metal. Trading goods works much better, in my opinion..." He frowned. "You humans are so confusing."

She laughed. "When you put it that way, yeah.. It is confusing." she admitted, shaking her head. "Never thought about it that way."

"I see." Léan sighed, then curled his tail up. "I think I am going to take a nap..." He seemed really tired from all of the commotion that had occurred today.

Lyra have a quick nod at that. They'd still had a while to go, so there was plenty of time to sleep. "Alright. If you're still asleep when we get there, I'll wake ya up." she said, noticing the others had done the same and gone to sleep. That explains their quietness. she thought, almost chuckling.

"Thank you..." Léan ducked down into the tank and curled up along the bottom, closing his eyes. He looked very relaxed, and majestic, underwater.

And skipping to when they land. ^ ^- )

"Lean.. Wake uup." Lyra called out, not really sure how exactly to wake him up when he's underwater. Usually, she could just nudge the person or something. But he was underwater right now. They had landed close enough to the sea, yet still safe enough to land the jet. The area was empty thankfully, though still rather dark. A perfect cover.

Léan stirred once her voice was loud enough to breach the glass and the water. He opened his eyes and then blearily looked around, like he wasn't sure where he was.

She smiled a little when she saw he woke up. "Hey there. We're here. Close enough to the Bering Sea." she said, nodding out the window, though it was too dark to tell what there was. "It's cold outside though." she warned. "Have a nice nap?"

Léan nodded, poking his head up above the surface. "I did...we're here?" he asked, sleepily, as he looked around. He was looking forward to getting back in the ocean again.

She nodded again, taking the brakes and rope off the wheels so she could get him off the jet and outside to return him. "Yep. We took a bit longer, but we're here." she said, grinning a little before going to the side and pressing a button to open the ramp.

Léan looked very relieved. A big grin graced his features. "Ah...thank you so much...I don't know how long I would have lasted in captivity. I probably would have died within two weeks..."

Lyra offered a small smile and nodded. Though, she didn't doubt that he might not have lasted. Especially if the tank had gotten even dirtier. It just wasn't healthy. She also couldn't imagine having to live in a completely different place by force. She pushed the tank down, slightly forcing it to go down to the water since it was slightly hard to manage it down the road. "Well, glad we could help you on that." she said.

Léan waited patiently for the tank to come to a stop at a perfect place for him to hop out of. "Thank you again...did you want to meet my brother before you leave? I could always see if I can find him..."
