She looked towards Airx."I'll be back. If i'm not in ten minutes then you can hunt me whoever you please..' She said, taking Masons hand and leading him out of the room. Once they were in the hallway she led him into the parlor room."What?" She questioned, holding his hands.

Mason followed, giving a small nod to Airx. "I don't get why you have to do this, but it's your choice," Mason said defeatedly and shrugged. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into a deep kiss, letting his emotions play through it. His eyes were shut tightly, and his mouth easily found hers.

'I don't want to do it but..I know what a hunters capable of and he'd just find me sooner or later." She said, kissing him back and then blushing."If I tried to run Airx would probably find me anyways so I might as well just let him get me and be done with it." She said, kissing him again."But your going to make it so you can get home to your sister. I'll make sure of it." She winked."Okay..' She pulled him close, whispering in his ear."Once Airx comes to get me I want you to go to the room we started at. In the earlier games there was an attic door right above the bed. They blocked it off so contestants couldn't use it to hide, but if you use your knife to pry the door open then you'll be safe until the game ends." She pulled back her head."Okay?"

Mason nodded. "I'll try to help some of the others get there as well. I can't let them all die," Mason said. "I'm already letting you die," Mason cringed openly. Her blushing made him smile. He ran his hand through his hair. "Thank you," he whispered to her, looking deep in her eyes. He debated whether or not saying the 3 words in his head. "This is the closest I've come to finding that someone. And now I have to let you go," he continued, barely above a whisper. "I love you," he whispered, barely audible. He pulled her into a deep kiss, deeper than the others. He ran a finger down her cheek, stroking softly. He pulled back, his eyes tearing up. "Goodbye Katie," he said, a bit louder, and began to turn.

Damien shrugged. "Looking for other contestants." he said, almost frowning. A trap had been activated. Most likely they'd died or maybe just transported to another part. He sighed, reaching the hole. "Well, seems they went down." he said, Glancing back down at her he smirked. "So, want to jump down? Or look elsewhere?" he asked her.

((Yea...my aunt was in an accident....she passed out at the wheel of her car, hit a mailbox and flipped into a tree.....she had to be air liftted to a hospital and that is all i know....so again sorry i can't post in her today))

Katies eyes widened a little. "You do?" She was crying now. Even though she told herself she wouldn't. She wanted to go with him..but she knew that if she went to the attic as well Airx would probably find her by scent, like the earlier hunters. Whenever they had their mind set on one person and the person was bleeding, they could easily take their scent in a find them. "I've never really been in love before..except with people I didn't even know. But, I love you too." She said, watching him turn to leave. She looked at the ground, sighing a little."But..If you do die. I'll be here waiting for you." She said, kissing his cheek."But thats only if you do. Which you won't.." She said, trying to cheer herself up.

((i know this is wrong to say but....i am not worried about her because God knows what he is going to do with her....I am more concerned with my grandma because she might not be able to handle it like she used too....))

((Yeah, I'm just upset because of my whole court situation. My dad lied to the judge and is trying to get my mother put in jail..so things aren't that great. ))

Jake was stood behind Katie like a shadow "so what do you plan to do now?" he asked from the darkness "and before you think im a hunter, im not... i just like to unseen, what is unseen is safe, thats if they don't have night vision" he grumbled, he walked closer "so are you going to hide and wait?"

Katie turned to Jake."No. Your going to hide with Mason in the attic. I'm going to..go back to Airx." She said quietly, still holding Masons hand. She felt horrible, but atleast she wouldn't be dead..she could still talk to him once she died."When I come back to life..as a hunter I will meet you guys in the attic if you want."

Jake looked at her and got his sword up "no way, im not letting you leave... not by yourself" he walked closer to her "and any way, i have always thought about what my death will be like... i want to die in honour, to die knowing i protected some-one" then he looked down the hallway "why do you want to go back any way?"

"Because. Airx wants me to be dead, to sort of..be with him I guess. But technically I won't be dead, i'll just be a hunter. So yes. You are going with Mason because I need you to make sure he lives. Okay? Can you do me that favor?" She pleaded.

Jake looked at her and smiled "ok, i will do it, but you had better get your but back here as soon as possible... wait... what happens if, one, you are evil and try to kill us, or two, end up being followed by Airx..." he looked around at Mason "... alright Mason... you heard what she said" he looked back at Katie "if you not good, i will sacrifise my life for him, i promise that as long as i live, he will not be harmed"

Katie frowned."You have a point. Then I guess this is the last time you will both see me." She said, looking towards a chair."I will probably be with Airx all the time. But thank you for agreeing to protect him. I wish you both luck." She said, forcing a small smile. I just wish that we all could've met.. before the games." She said, patting Jakes shoulder and whispered in his ear."If Mason tries to leave the attic..don't let him." She said, stepping back.

Laurette looked at him, her expression curious as she raised an eyebrow. "Jump down?"

"Of course I do. I'd die for you babe," he said to Katie, giving her a small smile to lighten things. A few tears begin to slip out, and his smile quivered. He heard a new voice and hid it as he turned. "Thanks. I can protect myself though," Mason said, but not rudely. His guard was already starting to build back up, and he sighed. "I wish we could have too," Mason said, this time more quietly and a bit to himself. His blue eyes were still clouded, filled with sadness and anger. He gave Katie one last kiss on lips, then one on her forehead as he squeezed her tight. He slowly, and very reluctantly, let go of her, staring at the hallway with a grimace.

((oh yea i found out that my aunt just has a few bruises, scratches and a fractured eye socket and that she was able to go home and thank you all :) ))

"Well, you already know i'd die for you..because I am." She smirked, kissing his cheek but taking his hand again. "Please don't go until Airx comes to get me.." She said, ushering him over to a seat. Of course she liked Airx, and wasn't afraid of him. But she was afraid that Mason would die, and a little of her own death. "But as soon as he takes me in the other room then you have to go to the attic." She whispered, not wanting any hunter or person to here. There were safe places all around the house, you just had to watch the games. And luckily, her mother had all of them on tape. So she knew where almost every one of the safe spots were."If they find you in the attic theres a passage way in the attic to the next safe place, which is a room in the far corner of the house. All the safe places have passage ways to each other..there just hard to find." She said quietly, running her hand threw his hair and then looking at Jake. "If you both make it to the end together, threaten to kill each other. Two people in the 25th games did that and won, but it made life for the 26th game people a lot harder. Gather up as many as you can people wise..but only those you think you can trust. Never let your guard down." The last sentence she had whispered into Masons ear, pulling her head back a little."I would try to find you as a hunter but its not safe.. but, either way, if you die or you live you can always watch me on the games or be dead with me on the games." She smirked, letting go of his hand.
