Laurette shrugged, "I don't know, killing everybody sounds tempting. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to get out of this dump." She looked at Kisha, a look of doubt on her face. Is she playing dumb, or is she really that scared? She seemed pretty confident earlier. She thought to herself, pushing herself gently off the wall. "Anyways, we shouldn't just stay here and make ourselves bait for those who want to kill us."

Kisha smiled faintly at Damien then looked at Laurette, nodding. "I agree. We should get moving...I just..." She looked down, if she could have, she would be blushing. "I'm afraid of booby traps, is all."

Damien smirked, "So you're the type that likes blood?" he asked, slightly intrigued. When she said something about moving before becoming bait, he resisted a laugh. They'd already been baited and now all that was needed was to pull it in. "Very true. We'll just keep an eye out for others, and if they annoy us. We kill them." he said simply. "And of course, watch out for the ever bad booby traps." he added.

"I like seeing blood, just not my own." She said slyly, grinning. "In fact, I have a strange fascination with blood. I wouldn't call myself a murderer though." She turned her face a little, looking at them again, "But I will kill those who get in my way."

He grinned somewhat. "Ah, how nice it is to see a female not afraid to get a little bloody." he said cheerfully before he nodded. She'll fit right in when she dies. he thought happily. "Well, we'll try not to get in your way." he said, shrugging.

Kisha took a step closer to Damien. She put a hand on his wrist, just the tips of her fingers touching him. She waited until Damien finished talking. "Why though? Wouldn't your parents try to make you stop?" She was more curious then anything else. While she waited for a reply, she spoke to Damien but the others couldn't hear because she said it in his mind. It was something she found she could do years ago after she was killed here. But she has to be touching them for it to work. This is going to be fun, taking her down.

Damien resisted smirking more, keeping the same expression as he heard her. He was used to it somewhat. It will be. Let's save her for last. I want to see her try and kill someone. To see how good she is. he thought back.

Laurette smiled at Damien, and shrugged. "I'm not the type who cries and runs into people's arms. I can fend for myself, and I don't mind a little blood." She turned to Kisha, and crossed her arms, her expression becoming serious. "I haven't seen them in years. I could die right now and they wouldn't care." She looked away, waving her hand in the air to show that she didn't care, "And they could be dead for all I care." A quick flash of her past passed through her mind. She wasn't sure if the abuse had made her stronger, or if it had scarred her. She just knew she didn't want to ever see her parents again, and she'd kill them herself if she had gotten the chance before.

Kisha sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to remind you."
I agree with you completely. I'll laugh if she tries for one of us, of course.
She looked around. "Where should we head to then?"

He raised an eyebrow before cocking his head to the side. "Ah? Well then. At least this way you won't have them mooching of of ya if you're one of the winners." he offered. I'd love to see her try. I'd be laughing at her face when she finds out we're not alive. "We could explore the top half of the house." he offered.

"Don't worry, it's not that upsetting." Laurette said and flashed Kisha a friendly smile, something she doesn't usually do to people she didn't trust. "As for where we're going.. I have no idea. I knew nothing about this until you guys came along. If I had known there was a money prize, I would have gone on a bloody rampage." She joked, winking playfully.

Kisha nodded. "He does have a point with your parents. No doubt mine would take most of it." There was a pang where her heart would be at the thought of her parents. She wondered if they had ever grieved for her. If her brother had cried, the big softy. "The top doesn't sound horrible, though will we really find a way out?" She looked at the girl. "You would kill people for money, even if they hadn't done anything to you?" She raised an eyebrow.
oooo, this is exciting.

"Tch, my parents wouldn't have a chance at trying for my money." he said, scoffing somewhat. "I live alone, and they never did shit for me." he said, shrugging. "My sister on the other hand, she could take half of it." he added, his look softening a little. She was probably old by now, and forgot about her brother. Not that he cared anymore. He'd grown to forget about past relationships. His look grew back to normal. "So, let's just walk around, and check if there's any competition." he said, nodding to the hallway. Very true. Now, lets just hope we find more wimps. Remember last year? That was fun.

As they walked, Laurette listened to what they had said about their families. It gave her a better idea of where they came from. She looked ahead, her eyes searching the darkness for any traps or any people that may be hiding or wandering around. She absently responded to Kisha's question, not looking in her direction. "If I had to kill to survive, then I might as well. It's not like I have no regard for human lives, I just.. I grew up having to think for myself. And the money? Just a bonus, I guess."

Kisha hid her chuckled in a small cough. Then she looked up. "Lets go then." She slid her hand down to hold Damiens hand, pretending that she was just a little scared and wanted the support. Really, she held it so they could keep talking. Last year was amazing. Seems this girl might be able to top this much fun. There was a small pause. You had a sister? You never mentioned her.
She looked at Laurette. "I'm sorry it has to be that way. I think you might benefit from human...emotions and touch. Thinking for yourself is good and all, just not when you have to kill others."

I agree. She reminds me of a very watered down version of myself. he thought, as he laughed somewhat. Realizing he laughed out loud, he blinked, looking at a small spider that was crawling on his other arm. "I'm very ticklish." he said, grinning somewhat as he swatted the spider away. It never came up, but yeah, I had a sister. Your age.

Kisha raised an eyebrow. "Your ticklish? That's crazy." What were you like, anyway? You were dead by the time I got here. Was she my age when you died, or my age when I died?

Laurette was a little startled by his laugh, but she only smiled. She was very quiet while they walked, and couldn't stop looking at the two. It seemed almost as if they were hiding something from her. As if something was hanging in the air and she couldn't understand what it was. She felt uneasy, and a little strange. Her smile faded and her face expressed no emotion while she thought about what the strange feeling might be.

Damien raised an eyebrow. "How is it crazy?" he asked. "I am ticklish actually, but it's only in certain spots. But you wouldn't know that, would you?" he said, then blinked and acted sheepish. "I probably shouldn't have told you that." he muttered. I remember when you died. But, she was eighteen when I died. So, she must be pretty old by now. And, I was almost the same as I am now. If not a bit more reckless. But less bloodthirsty as now. he answered, mentally shrugging.

Kisha snorted. "You probably shouldn't have told us that." She looked over at Laurette. "Make a mental note: Damiens' terribly ticklish." She smiles at her. I had a brother. Twin actually. So he would be late twenties or so by now I think. What do you remember about my death? She was curious and wanted to know.

Laurette smiled back at her, her smile a little uneasy. "I'll be sure to remember that if he ever turns on me. I'll tickle him to death." She joked, making a tickling motion with her hands. I wonder if they're old friends. Maybe they'll turn on me. I'll have to be prepared for that. She thought to herself. She wasn't sure if she wanted allies or not. It did feel nice not being alone for a change.

You don't remember? I wasn't there there, since it wasn't me who killed you. He raised an eyebrow at Laurette's smile. "Well, I'm not sure if I can die from being tickled, but I'll try and stay on your good side. Now what's up? We making you feel nervous?" he asked, sounding curious.

"Nervous wouldn't really be the word I would use to describe the feeling." She said, with a smirk on her face. She removed her top hat, using her other hand to gently brush her hair down. It was getting a little hot in here, or maybe she was feeling anxious. "To be brutally honest, I guess I'm just still a bit suspicious."

She looked at the girl, seeming to be a little sad. "I'm sorry I make you suspiscious. That's not my intention. I want us to trust each other, you know? So we don't have to go through this alone." I remember most of it. I was just checking to see if you were a part of it or not. She looked at the walls as they passed them.

"On the other hand, I suppose it's fair to be suspicious. But you don't have to worry much. I'm not armed." he said, holding his arm out to show no weapons. Well, I wasn't a part of it. I took down that one other girl, the whinny snobbish one. Remember her? he asked. He almost grinned at the memory. He really had been there for a long time. And he was the only one who actually stayed. For some reason, he could never leave. How ironic. Even in death, I can't leave this dump.
